I don't really mind positionals, for the most part. I'd even say that Dragoon has the best positional system by far with Raiden Thrust. Not only will you get the potency increase for landing a positional, you get a shiny new attack you get to use for landing one correctly. I feel like every melee job should have one of these, in my honest opinion. Like, sometimes missing a positional isn't that big of a deal, you only miss out on maybe 40 to 60 potency. In the grand scheme of things, as long as you're getting your rotation out missing those potency increases isn't the end of the world. But if suddenly you get a new attack unlocked for landing a positional, that's a whole other ball game.
