Besaid had a French Mithra GM wondering around near the Ul'dah V-Day event on the first day of it. She was bombarded with kisses.
I wonder if she was role playing one of the reporters like Peryr.

These events are indeed fun! I've participated in a few French speaking ones, but today I've finally seen one in english.
I find it neat how they're not confined to a script... somehow the conversation went from Valentine's chocolate to a Roegadyn eating Lalafell around Ul'dah.
Hope to see many more still! Thumbs up for the GMs aswell.![]()
Seconded..+1 for your extremely accurate description of our server. :P I really am eagerly awaiting the server merge.
Thanks for posting this. I, too, am surprised that we got a GM visit. I mean, I know they want to give everyone a chance, but I never expect to see anything happen on our tiny server. It warms my heart to know that Palamecia got a little love.
To be honest, I originally ended up on Palamecia because I had some friends from FFXI that moved here. So I'm not really attached to the name, and I'm happy about the new naming system that's coming.
I'm a little disappointed I missed something actually happening on our server, but thank you for posting it!
I wonder what his news article will be about
Or if we scared him away ; ;

Chocobo are Chocobo.
Moogles are Moogles.
Ifrit is Ifrit.
Just because Tanaka went mad and misnamed the races doesn't mean I'm not going to call them by their rightful names.

I just hope Kipih Jakkya does not base her next article on what she saw in Ul'dah the other day. ><
She came to gather information for her story on the crisis facing Eorzea, and found a bit of a different crisis -- Hentai festival in Ul'dah.
(sorry... all in Japanese, but you can get the idea from the pictures)
I think they always try to visit during the peak hours of each region.
I only see English speaking reporters in the morning (peak time in North America).
And during peak time here we always have Japanese speaking reporters.
I've never seen a French or German speaking reporter... probably because I'm usually asleep during European peak time. ^^;
