I do tend to believe Yoshida though, for the foreseeable future they do not have the budgeting to maintain, or create another new race (equivalent male viera/female hrothgar). If something changes "perhaps", that's why he won't shut the door on it. Though, the way I tend to read his statements, I'd say any actual new races are an almost definite "never". Male Viera/female hrothgar, are a "maybe one day".

Viera hair and hrothgar faces, if I recall correctly, was more of a definite "YES!" yet we have seen nothing, that's what's frustrating.

Agreed, I had assumed viera hair/hrothgar faces (updates) would have been part of the plan, but I guess not. They made them for ShB and then left them seemingly without any actual plans to update them; put on the backburner.

Simple. They pre-planned these hairstyles (hairstyle contest?). Plans for these hairs were mapped out prior, viera/hrothgar updates were not.
The budgeting thing is kind of a weird situation. Because supposedly ShB made far more money than any other expansion yet still no customization changes have been seen with hrothgar or viera. And no significant changes have been seen with any of the other races soooo...where’s our sub and mogstation money going.
