You know pre-orders sell out, right? Same thing happens here in the US. That's why scalpers are so successful on auction sites.

And the bigger issue is we have a game with a monthly subscription but more and more things are being pushed to microtransactions, while the quality of what we get for our ongoing subscription is rapidly declining.
