That.. is.. deep.Floating = you're less human
Don't let religion make you believe that being farther away from earth actually makes you special
Being grounded to the planet is actually more "angelic" than floating away. Floating away means you're a deceiver.
If you floated you couldn't walk all cool like the Paladin in Endwalker
I'm not a fan of in-game items tied to things made intentionally scare. Especially paired with how the quality of what we can get in game has been dropping over the years and more and more is coming out tied to the cash shop or limited items. This limited thing is something really big in Japan, I gather. We have it here in the US to a certain extent (look at console launches), but not to the levels seen there.
You do know what a pre order is right? The option to get this existed for a year nearly. So they knew how many to make. And you want to talk about scarcity? Lol.I'm not a fan of in-game items tied to things made intentionally scare. And this is where you show your hand. People have been AFKing with Ultimate weapons since UCoB but that doesn't bother you because you don't care about Ultimate. You allowing an emote to ruin your day is a personal problem. It isn't SE or anyone else's fault life got in the way and you weren't able to afford something. Likewise, people who are able shouldn't be made to feel bad showing off and being excited about their purchase.
"Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters."
"The silence is your answer."
You know pre-orders sell out, right? Same thing happens here in the US. That's why scalpers are so successful on auction sites.
And the bigger issue is we have a game with a monthly subscription but more and more things are being pushed to microtransactions, while the quality of what we get for our ongoing subscription is rapidly declining.
Pre order didn’t sell out. The option to buy existed to the day they shipped starting this February. Want to try again? You know pre-orders sell out, right? Same thing happens here in the US. That's why scalpers are so successful on auction sites.

I also missed the part where a physical item was a digital good. Just as the OP, you see what you want to see. The emote isn’t what’s being sold. I don’t see any of you throwing insults and insinuating anything over the pre order for Scions and Sinners. You must not care about Orchestrion rolls.
Reached daily limit. Just want to point out OP has changed the reasoning multiple times ending with scalping now being the reason for this entire debacle.

You win the whole thread. This is 100% on point and better articulated than I could ever have said. You know pre-orders sell out, right? Same thing happens here in the US. That's why scalpers are so successful on auction sites.

Scalpers ruin everything. It has always been a problem, but never as bad as it is now. You really don't think scalpers aren't scalping the 400$ omega resales? Of course they are. They'll ruin anything for a turn of profit, even if others go without.
Zelda Joyons. Ruined.
Ps5 is still unobtainable.
Xbox Series X Is unobtainable.
Every limited gaming thing ever is scalped and sold at OUTRAGEOUS prices.
Even the Mario Cereal that was out a few years ago was scalped for at least 50$ a box. CEREAL. I don't know anyone who got a box. And it was all because it contained a Mario Odyssey code.
Mcdonald's had to make it so that you couldn't just buy Pokemon cards. You have to buy a happy meal. People scalped and ruined those for the first week.
Exclusivity on physical content does NOT work in this day and age. Not until scalpers are regulated better by laws, which is a hard enough issue to deal with. Ask anyone how they are going to make such laws without limiting the freedom to buy and resell your own private property. It's a very hard law to write, and it will take some creative lawyers, and politicians to come up with such a bill. Until then, the least we could do is make these limited things easier to obtain.

Stuff like ps5, xbox, and the whole chips decline has to do with politics, theft, and sovereignty.
The countries which have the natural resources necessary for these chips are either not allowing it anymore, being protected by other countries (Russia), or the local natives are not allowing the theft of it. There's also a theory that chips are scarce because they're going into the corona vaccine, my previous statement is not a theory though.
There's a global reset in effect.
