    They also have draco, flying lizard-like creatures which are non-sentinent, but still monsterous (a number of FATEs in Lakeland deal with them hunting merchants which the beleagured Crystarium guard found difficult to prevent).

    There is also that very large egg (or rather, the shattered shell from one) near the fae-amaro encampment in Il Mheg that, no one seems to know what came out of it. Given the size, it's former occupant is most likely huge....

    I had the impression the implication was that it's the egg of the not-so-mythical samiel, the main target from the Facet of Gathering quests. Though I don't think it's outright confirmed.
