It is still subjective. I mentioned nothing about law, simply rules. Subjective rules do nothing to help correct actions (particularly when they don't tell you want you did to violate said rules) and only open the door to abusing said rules.Except the GM must also find it offensive. So if they do, you're busted. Thems the rules. It's not law, it's what you agree to when you sign up for the game. It doesn't even have to be fair. It's their rules. If you don't like it, go play something else. That's all you can do.
Do you really need someone hovering over your shoulder, telling you what is and is not okay to say? If you can only avoid breaking the rules by having someone proofread what you're saying, you really need to take a step back and learn how to be more mindful.
I feel like people who need the rules clearly defined for them just want to be an ass while avoiding the ban hammer. Can't you just be civil with people? Is that too much to ask?
No but when I make a mistake I like to be informed of what the mistake was so I can correct it.
