    It's designed that way to mitigate or outright prevent witch-hunting, to encourage people to report bad behavior due to anonymity.

    If the GMs said exactly what instance of dialogue you got reported for, a person could potentially figure out who reported them, and attempt to witch-hunt/harass them on platforms outside of Square Enix's control. (IIRC, this is what happened with a popular streamer by the name of Arthars, who got banned due to blatantly making fun of a low damage party member, which caused a bunch of JP trolls & the streamer's fans to witch-hunt the player since they knew who reported him.)

    While the Mordion Gaol could be improved (especially in response time), there are reasons why they're not transparent. Don't insult others, don't use bad words when you're not among close friends is the unspoken rule in this game. All it takes is one person finding your language offensive to end up there.
