Covid.. again? Viera/hrothgar were "completed" PRIOR to Covid. Not a single update during 2019, even though they promised hair "of course". While every other race in the game before, AND DURING Covid have received regular updates, new hairstyles, and usable event rewards. While viera/hrothgar are sitting on the sidelines with NOTHING. Where are our race specific hairs? 6.0?!

It's a bit of a stretch, yes. 5.0 happened way before Covid. It's nice that some head pieces work, though. I'm actually a big fan of the Bozjan hoodie. ^^

But not even new hair styles? Like, seriously?
Events where you only get head gear that you can't equip? Feels more like a slap in the face if anything. lol

If only you can at least switch between the 2 hairstyles of a face in the aesthetician, but they don't even allow that. It's too bad you have to use a fantasia just to change hairstyles if you play as a Hrothgar.

I just hope they actually add more faces for Hrothgar at this point since some of the scrapped faces and hairstyle look nice.

Yeah. I was honestly okay with them changing their mind and saying they will be adding race specific hairs only. I have been excited to see what they come up with and to get more choices. However, patches have come and gone and the new expansion is now on the horizon and ....nothing. Nothing but a “please be patient” during an art stream months and months ago.

We have been patient. I get that covid is a thing. But it’s not even looking like a thing that got delayed- it’s like it was never in the development schedule to begin with. They have been able to get a hairstyle out for everyone else every patch. Why are we a “whenever we can get around to it” afterthought while all the other races get new stuff constantly? Is it completely out of the question to let the other races sit with their dozens of old hair styles for a patch or two to give us a few more on the new races?

This is what gets me. If no new hairstyles came at all I'd be like "okay covid is obviously being enough of an obstacle that SE chose to postpone some of the cosmetic options we're used to getting in order to prioritise other content" but instead viera and hrothgar watched all the other races continue to get additions for their already large range of hairstyles and when we complain that we haven't got even one we are met with "you're being entitled! Did you forget there is a pandemic?!" conveniently ignoring that the pandemic somehow hasn't prevented other races from getting multiple new hairstyles.

7.0 Patch Notes:
-All headgear has been removed from the game.

I wouldn't be surprised. They're removing belts after all, instead of designing more gear for swappable belts in mind like in 1.0.
Seeing what they did to healers and tanks, they seem to like prioritizing taking things away when trying to 'fix' or 'balance' things.

Or that said pandemic started getting serious after several months had already passed since ShB release [mid 5.2 ish], and by then the other races had already gotten 3 -of the currently 7- new hairstyles.

I just hope they actually add more faces for Hrothgar at this point since some of the scrapped faces and hairstyle look nice.

2 of those were still used for the current hairstyles (and the faces themselves were rejected to begin with) so I doubt we'll see them anytime soon, but I'd LOVE if we got that ponytail

I'm fine with no hats or headwear bc they told us that Viera wouldn't be able to wear that stuff anyway but I do think it's dumb Viera still hasn't given a new hairstyle. That all I want is new hair for Viera and they don't even have to go back and make the old hair work with Viera. Just make the new hair work or give Viera hairstyles that only work with them.

Sorry, those stickers for gpose and instruments for perform won't make themselves! That also means that they need to make the main menu screen louder because reasons.
