I think what we should do, since 6.0 is a self contained wrap up story, is ki8ll all the scions off in the last act of 6.0 and introduce new characters for 7.0. It won't happen, it would make a lot of people mad, but it would be really cool. Like a red wedding. I just want a graphic red wedding in this game.

I can see it happening to Lyse, Hien, or Yugiri. My money is on Yugiri as she may take a "bullet" for Hien out of loyalty. Same goes for the Garlean woman in Ishgard for Aymeric.

Also thought about Sadu and Little sun, though there is one guy who keeps coming back from the brink of death.

As if I can recall, he left for a pilgrimage of peace without his blade. A likeable uncle figure, not sure even he is aware that Zenos is alive and killing.

I think that would make SE executives sweat at the thought of how it would affect subscription numbers. Because ''a lot of people mad'' is not good for business. But then, that is why you yourself acknowledge it won't happen.
