    This is a strawman.

PotD and the loss of a dungeon were decisions made long before Covid even existed. Furthermore, they had eighteen months to design the second Ultimate, or relay information to the playerbase of its potential delay. They did neither—waiting until the literal last second to spring such news onto everyone likely because they knew it'd cause a plethora of players to unsub. Meanwhile, if you're a casual players, everything did proceed as planned with no interruption for your preferred content.

Regardless, you're arguing a fallacy here. Raiders are allowed to be upset their content was cancel in the same way casual players flipped out they lost dungeons.

Because many of us have done it already. FFXIV isn't exactly known for content longevity if you're a long time player. We're now going to be waiting upwards of eight months with only an EX Primal and whatever's left of Bozja.
