If the FATEs aren't guaranteed drop, does that mean you have to do 15 Shadow of Mhach raids plus 15 Return to Ivalice raids? My God. I just spent the whole day on and off playing, and got to this step now.So, maybe it's just me, but it doesn't seem like the memories are guaranteed drops from the Fates this time, so expect to grind even more of them. Or do 18 runs each of HW and SB alliance raids. Plus 15 runs of Reginae or a lot of POTD.
I'm going to try and knock one piece out each day.

They gave it a weekly, that gives you 3 gold coins you can trade in for the newer gear, guaranteed. They learned...just not enough.

Apparently. And supposedly the final step requires doing the new 24 man 15 times. You know, as if we hadn't ran it already. This is gonna be...fun? Sure, we'll go with that word.

Ahh, just when alliance roulette actually became a roulette again... good grief.
Here's to the next 2-3 months getting nothing but Syrcus Tower for this roulette. If I was the WoL, I would obliterate that effin tower, I kid you not.

And this is PER RELIC! This is actually horrific! Thank God I only really play two classes! Jesus Christ. It takes roughly 5 hours to get just the 15 crystal tower raids. I can't remember exactly how long the quickest Shadow of Mhach raids last, or the Ivalice raids. The new 24 man will be the absolute worse, probably an hour a run, plus all the learning players.

I'm glad I only plan to do one, because I couldn't stomach doing it again. lolAnd this is PER RELIC! This is actually horrific! Thank God I only really play two classes! Jesus Christ. As an aside, the quickest HW raid is without a doubt Void Ark. People cruise through that almost as fast as ST. For Stormblood? Probably Rabanastre. That one will probably be the longest grind, aside from the new raid. But that one should get a little easier as time goes on as more people learn it.
And from what I have heard, neither is CT -- maybe it can be confirmed otherwise.

Void Ark is horrible. I hate the music and the aesthetic. The vomiting tentacle monster is vile.As an aside, the quickest HW raid is without a doubt Void Ark. Yeah, I'll probably run my way through Rabanastre today and then do the Void Ark stuff tomorrow. Then it's 2 days of Reginae because I'll have to rebuild my lost mettle in between because SE decided to make failure extremely punishing, even when it's not your fault and the group wipes to an enrage on that one boss.I'm glad I only plan to do one, because I couldn't stomach doing it again. lol

All for a weapon that's worse than the Tome gear we have now. It should, at minimum, be the same ilvl.

If that is your whole conclusion, then your deductive ability sucks majorly or you are too stuck up in the "higher-than-thou" mentality. Just because something was worse earlier doesn't make the current issue any better. That's poor deflection.
Just a proud bad-skilked player
