Lily gives WHM 1000mp, like WHM has 0 mp issues that would be worthless
You can leave your own effects on but turn down party members and other players, they're all separate.
It would take a special kind of incompetence to balance job contribution around spell animation.
Holy is one of the slowest, clunkiest spells there are as it is, it does not need a longer cast time wtf.

It's just bad design if a single player can spam an attack so the tank can't even see the enemies/ground AoEs anymore. It's the most obnoxious spell I can think of in the game. haha
As someone who plays all three healers at max level, mostly WHM, and as someone who decided to play a healer to focus on healing and have some dps spells on the side when needed and/or have nothing else to do, I have mixed feelings about this : the whole thing of having OGCD spells in FFXIV is what makes the combat feels good at higher levels, because you're able to chain spells faster than the 2.5 sec GCD. If these OGCD heals become GCD, it will slow the combat by a L O T. I do however like the idea of having OGCD damage spells with a cooldown, because i hate to see healers in trials/raids spamming Glare and nothing else while i have to handle the healing alone. Again, i'm a healer, not a green DPS, so you at least have my attention here.
Holy is already a spell with a very slow animation, and it does very little damage for what you imagine as a 30 sec cooldown spell. However, it does stun, which makes it a really, really strong spell in aoe situations . I have to say no to that because the only reason to accept this change would be to have another spammable aoe. More on that later...

So the point of Assize as of today is to have an ogcd hybrid damage/healing spell that also gives a bit of MP regen. What you want to do is to get rid of the ogcd part, the cooldown, the MP regen, and the heal unless you get a proc from medica I or II, which means you have to spam these spells until you get a proc for that.
In other words, what you want to do is to get rid of what makes Assize an interesting spell.
So you're basically adding Stone I / II / II back into our DPS spells for the purpose of having a combo rotation. We'd break the combo chain with our other healings spells. It's useless.

Up until that point, I tried not only to take you seriously, but also to bring constructive criticism.
But this suggestion shows me you have no idea what it's like to play WHM. When I read that, i had to stop reading to jump to other jobs. So, sure, AST gets Ewer back to it's ancient design, but we all know ASTs will never use it because they'd be fishing for better cards, like it was before Shadowbringers. But nothing for Scholar ? Really ? Have you played Scholar ? SCHs would sell mom and dad for a passive trait like that. WHM have a ton of MP management spells.
So you want them to tune down the animation effects then, not alter the functionality of the skill until it's unusable.Guys, you can moan as much as you want. lol
