About the World Merge and Character Transfers (02/09/2012)

People are on every time I log on, in the morning (GMT) if I spoke Japanese I could get a Japanese party, infact I have before now. Later on I can get EU parties and at night I can get NA parties.

Perhaps [BLEEP] is just a bad server for international players

I dont want it to turn into that, but if you only have people on at certain times it may not be an international server.

Well, the Selbina I play on has a ton of English players in the EU, but the French players are fewer and seem to cluster together. I party with them frequently (yesterday morning, actually), but they are the most isolated--the ones that "get out" are, naturally, the bilingual ones. I have yet to encounter anyone that speaks German besides someone in my LS that's trying to learn. The EU "prime," however, is rather full. As a college student, I can't say that I keep the same hours two days in a row, and there is only a tiny window that lacks players, which is normally around 12:00-15:00 UCT (not exact times, but just a rough estimate). That's really the only time I've ever seen a party have to give up, or taken the time to make food while I'm in a party. Then again, that's just my experience, and whenever I'm on XIV, I'm normally doing something outside of Ul'dah.

Lets do that then, wasnt trying to start another one, I was replying to a post that made me assume there wasnt as much of an international playerbase, but enough with that lets leave this thread for rages now (you know they will come)
