I'm simply going to add my voice to this because I also have an issue with how badly this is going to split up friends. I have two main linkshells, and I know I'll be following both because there's a good chance both will be going to the same server.

That being said, not every member of those two shells sees either shell as their main, so they'll be following whatever their main is. This entire mess will only end with me losing friends I've had since open beta, not to mention the community I've come to know and love since open beta. Lindblum is one big, happy family, and I absolutely hate the way SE is handling this merge.

You'll live, and if you stop being so negative, you'll forge an even greater community than before.
