If we don't, then we at least tried. Was writing these posts really such a burden that I will forever hate myself if we don't succeed? Nope. In fact, I even gained a little bit of insight about what groups this merge is helping. I still don't think they outweigh the losses, but hey.

Okay so allow server transfers after the straight world merge. You have what you want, and I have what I want.

They are already allowing transfers after the first phase, so there is no reason they can't just do a straight up merge first.

Then there is no forcing people to break up their communities.

I wouldn't mind if they did it that way, but it's probably too much work for such a trivially small community. Especially considering that, at worst, most people really aren't too torn up about it. At best, some are actually pleased with it. Myself included, if the alternative is having no say in where I'm going.
