I leave early on Fates all the time because folks tend to spread out and do multiple FATEs at a time so I try to hit as many as I can so I can get rewards faster.
I'm sorry if it bugs you. It bugs me that folks split up (intentionally or not), forcing me to break off from the pack so I can not miss out on the benefits...

Everyone should follow your example. That way the Fate never complete and no one gets anything.

Your post but written honestly: I leave early on fates all the time because I want other to do all the work for me and refuse to not get every single reward. It's absolutely impossible for me to organize the fate train so I'm going to continue to be a selfish player who takes advantage of others, so that I can not miss out on the rewards others earn for me.

You're assuming that everyone arrived there at the same time and everyone left at the same time, and that there are no new people arriving at the fate.

The most fun part is that you used: "if they get gold they did enough" as an argument. Any tank can get gold with no effort, particularly in boss fates.

I'm not. That's what I see in most FATEs. There are always new people arriving at the FATE, because not everyone was at the same place. That's not a huge leap of logic.

Also, you post this:

In case you haven't understood, they mean the exact same thing. You're hiding under the pretense that what people are doing isn't inefficient(which if you think about it for a bit, it's obvious that it isn't) when instead you're arguing out of outrage and some deep seated fear that you'll be enable to complete your FATEs because everyone will leave. Leeching complexes shouldn't be fed. If you can't get Gold yourself when others leave, it's all on you.

The most fun part is that you used: "if they get gold they did enough" as an argument. Any tank can get gold with no effort, particularly in boss fates.

The most fun is that you think tanking isn't doing anything. I better not catch you ever complaining about tanks not using cooldowns, because apparently they're automatic or something.
