Easiest class?

Tank: war and drk are both as easy as each other
Healer: Whm, sch used to be easier but ocd fairy skills made it a pain to play, whm healing is also all instant now unless you're bad enough to use cure or medica 2
Melee: drg, no variances baby rotation, just don't drop your eyes on the floor during downtime
Ranged: mch, the wardrk of ranged, except only easier, 1-2-3, spam heat blast 5 times, only "difficulty" of it is using drill and anchor on cd, which is a joke
Caster: smn, infinite mobility and pressing triple weaving isn't hard

That is bad advice, sure you can get away most of the time with instant heals & Regens, and a lot of time your cast Heals are spent on AOE Cure 3, but you want to use the AOE Heal Medica 2 as it has Regen included. Plus every so often you should use other cast heals as well, it's not all the time, but you'll need them situationally. Healing is an art, You have to mix DPS and keeping everyone alive, it's not for the faint of heart or the lazy player.

If there was a Heal you won't use as WHT it's Medica (no number) it has a long cast time, and low heal potency, and is there for the few times you hit a dungeon under level 40.

WAR is piss easy. Seriously, its main rotation is literally 4 buttons without the oGCD's of other tanks to spice thing up or add complexity, and its burst phase is just mashing one button. Not that its bad though, sometimes its fun to just go all unga bunga and crit DH some mobs.

And being a tank doesnt make it any harder, tank mechances are so braindead nowadays (once you get into the swing of things, awhitch is not THAT hard) it might as well be a melee with more defence oGCD's. Pretty vague but I'd rather not it this post get too long by explaining why its so simple, which is not that simple.

Other jobs? MCH, MCH's roation is literally 3 buttons with some GCD's thrown in plus soem other GCD's on their own CD. Burst phase is just mashing 1 very, very short GCD and two oGCD's.

Healers can be easy, but you need to learn how to maximise DPS and minimise healing, while preventing overhealing, that can take a bit of learning your job.

AST heals or go home!

I love AST. It keeps me the busiest of all the jobs I play.

AST is my Favorite Healing class as well, I like the AOE DPS, I love the Card system as it is these days, and when you heal you have options the other two do not have. If anything my only complaint with AST, and it's gotten better last patch is the mana use. Only healer Job that will run out of mana at some point in a long fight.

You can play all the jobs on 3 buttons and still out perform most players on DF. So play whatever you enjoy.
