A completely digital shirt or flying whale is not comparable to such a thing. It’s not even comparable to a required purchase to make a game playable (something like storage space upgrades found in Path or Exile).

...so, yeah, when people fork over 35$ for an imaginary bugaboo mount that offers no edge over any other freely available mount it does indeed tell SE that the customer has that expendable income and that the price was fair enough to be an acceptable exchange. Even if you felt it was expensive, you still bought it. Mission accomplished by SE.

It’s a luxury item, and priced as such.
Honestly, Getting a Pizza costs more than anything on the Mogstore. Last night I got a Large Wombo Combo at Round Table, it cost: (picture)

Most expensive thing on the mogstore...(I know the name changed, I liked the old name better)

Mount: Chocobo Carriage (Account-wide) $35.99 USD

So for a few cents more, I can have a 4 person mount account-wide, that's good as long as the game is running, or I can have an excellent pizza for one night split between me and my roommate.

I would say the Mount is by far a cheaper cost. People complaining about SE selling things, would complain if they were selling them for one dollar because they feel entitled to all content created by the dev team.

Edit: BTW, the tip amount is not what the actual tip is, That is the amount that the driver has to pay taxes on, I always give a cash tip on top of a min Credit Card tip. This is so the driver pays as little Tax on tips from me as possible. I think I gave the driver $10. The pizza was piping hot when she got here.

Edit 2: Oh FYI, California (and most states in general) assume %15 of the food cost to be given as a tip, and will tax the driver or wait staff an assumed tip of %15 if there is no CC tip, as the state assumes a cash tip then. They have software designed to automatically do this, so if you always give a cash tip, always include a CC tip of a small amount, the software will assume the small tip was the only tip, and not charge tax on the assumed %15. Now for those who don't pay the tip, the driver or wait staff will still be charged the tax as if you did tip %15. so let's say the meal was $100, (before tax) the state assumes a $15 tax and will charge $7.50 in tax if no CC tip was included. If you don't tip on a $100 meal, you are stealing $7.50 from their next paycheck.

So I always give a terrible CC tip, and then over tip in cash. When I was a kid, my mother worked as wait staff, and when I was 20 something I delivered pizzas before going to college.
