So out of alll the summons /primals of past final fantasy games,which do you want?

My point was that when it comes to the "pinnacle of summons" (which I take to mean epic-ness as damage in all ff games is dwarfed by FFXIII) Knights of the Round doesn't really compare to Eden, or even Ark, or Exodus. But hey, to each their own

I think I understand what you're trying to say. Sure it doesn't compare to Eden, Ark or Exodus because it may not look fabulous, but KoTR packs more punch to the damage. I'm sure you know VII is the first Final Fantasy title on the PSX, and at that same time it was considered amazing. Over time SE(Square Soft at the time) got better with the hardware and you get crisper looking graphics that looks more pretty, and with sparkles. That is why Bahamut never really looks the same, but it is still Bahamut.

The only substantial argument for KotR's inclusion over any other recent ultimate summon is that FFVII needs special consideration due to it's popularity.

Great that it is popular, all the more reason why it is a good idea to include it in FFXIV.
