I also loved the summon designs for XII and XIII, so I hope they are all well detailed summons, whatever they choose to use.

I think the Magus Sisters would be awesome to see! And I could just see them creeping out from within the bowels of Gridania.

I think i should be a able to be summonedFor i would kick so much ass

I think Siren would fit into FFXIV.
She could be near Limsa luring sailors to their deaths.
You could make it interesting by fighting her on a boat at sea.
Make her have a "pretty" form and then transform into some ugly sea undead witch for a second form.
Although I would love to fight Hades/Anima.
One of the things Final Fantasy has that FFXI (not many) and FFXIV didn't do, is 2nd-3rd forms/stages of the boss.
I would love to see them add a Leviathan fight that has the players fighting from a boat in the water. Same thing with some sort of ariel battle similar to the one from FFX. Maybe have a Shiva battle in snowy white out conditions? I remember the Diablo fight in XI being fairly interesting because you had to manage dangerous terrain AND the boss itself. I really love the concept they have for a free roaming Odin nm though, and would LOVE to see this model of boss fight a bit more in game.

True, it was an opinion.
I posted it in response to this opinion:
My point was that when it comes to the "pinnacle of summons" (which I take to mean epic-ness as damage in all ff games is dwarfed by FFXIII) Knights of the Round doesn't really compare to Eden, or even Ark, or Exodus. But hey, to each their ownKnights of the Round summon is the pinnacle of summons. 13 gigantic knights going berserk on the toughest of bosses. The other reason is because it reminds gamers of Final Fantasy VII, where this summon was last seen. It’s about time we bring the Knights into this generation.
By the way, FFVII isn't just the where KtoR was last seen, its also where KotR was only seen.
The only substantial argument for KotR's inclusion over any other recent ultimate summon is that FFVII needs special consideration due to it's popularity. I'm not in favor of repeating ultimate summons for the reasons I stated earlier.
Also, we've got Materia from FFVII. I would rather we draw from other FF titles first before we go back to milking that cow again.
