    Just an FYI mate, they were never 'Female Only' its just consistently in the Ivalice setting used, you never 'Saw' a Male Viera. Because according to their lore they are very different from the females, more reclusive, not sociable and stuff like that.

    I know that, I'm talking about the people that wanted Viera. They only know them as female so where did this expectation come from?

    Well, I've known that male viera existed. When I created my original viera thread, which was a few years ago, I asked for both male and females.
    It's not as if I suddenly wanted male viera ever since female viera were added. I'm sure some people here who have kept an eye on the original thread can confirm that it was created for the addition of both male and female viera.
