- Fight design is built almost exclusively around the average dps player's experience. Tanking and healing gameplay exists as an afterthought. The dev team is afraid to let these roles have any sort of real value outside of a progressively shrinking raid dps contribution.
- There's very little two-way communication with the dev team. Most Q+A sessions focus on fluff issues instead of more challenging questions about gameplay and job design. Most feedback from us doesn't get translated up. Development team reacts too little, too late to player feedback. There's no sense that anyone on the dev team actually represents you or your input as say, a tank or a healer.
- Every expansion, abilities get arbitrarily ripped out of jobs for the sake of keeping a fixed amount of hotbar slots. Every expansion, you're playing a completely different job. Get a skill tree system or something.
- There are way too many jobs for the size of the development team that is looking after them.
