Yeah, but it's an unnecessary and player hostile decision that gets in the way of fun.For mog station items it is quite clear when you purchase them that they are gender locked - you make the decision to proceed with the purchase knowing that is the case. You are then told at the checkout that you waive your rights to a refund on them if you open the mail on the moogle.
So sorry but I am against this - characters make a decision to buy gender locked items and then decide to switch their genders - again their conscious decision. They need to take the responsibility for those decisions and be aware of the implications.
You're saying we just have to live with it like this is part of the way the world works, but this is part of a man made system and can be changed.
Basically yes - live with it. People have accepted that for as long as the Mog Station and CERTAIN outfits are gender locked. People purchasing an outfit entered into a contract at the time of purchase which was completed to their satisfaction. They then want to change their minds and sorry but you have to draw the line.
If this were permitted it would then open the gates for other people who "change their minds" on purchases - bought a job boost but now decide you don't like it - no problem speak to an NPC and they will reverse it and you can take your pick of all the other jobs.
Bought a Fantasia but decide you don't like the look - hey no worries this NPC will give you another.
