Has this game ever made you angry?

I don't think the game itself has ever made me angry on its own virtues, annoyed sure and eye-rolly here and there, or uninterested.

No people have really made me angry, either, just disappointed when the occasional thing happens. By occasional thing, I do mean behavior -- especially when someone makes the error and that someone continuously starts blaming/deflecting towards everyone else, usually in some passive-aggressive manner. Or, I guess, people in shout chat 90% of the time but 10% of the time it's chill.

Usually it's a mix of "I really like the idea here, I wish it felt more involved" or "I really don't like how this feels, and I hope it doesn't stay." Or just "I really like having this, I wish we were able to have it earlier since it neatly fills the hole of what's usually missing for me during the first half of an expansion."

But... I don't think I ever felt actually angry about anything. Outside of the above, maybe... uhhh, sarcastically shocked surprise? That shocked of "oh, I didn't know... this could happen" but because you've been on a dungeon boss fight way longer than normal and learned a new mechanic.

Been thinking about this since the topic was first posted. There are things about the game that frustrate me but I wouldn't say they make me angry. The majority of things that make me angry are player related.

The one thing that is game related that makes me angry is the tolerance for cheating in the form of bots. Granted the bots exist because there are players who like to cheat but SE controls how much their presence is tolerated in the game. SE might get rid of the more obvious RMT bots but they're doing nothing about the player controlled bots. As a result those are getting out of hand because as more players who cheat get away with it, more players who want to be cheating do it as well.

It's mathematically IMPOSSIBLE not to be angry at some point if you are one.

Sometimes, though these things don't happen really often and are player related. I wouldn't even say angry, just a bit annoyed when people afk and expect to be carried, or when people are unnecessarily rude.

Game-wise, Ryne annoyed me. A lot.

When I move from a JP server where everything was easy and coordinated to a EU server... Then I ran one of the 24-man raid.... almost uninstalled the game.
i just... could not believe...

Used to it now though.

Spending like 18 hour straight clicking on a housing placard until game let me purchase a house. That made me upset.

New player here. The end of the ARR's MSQ really ticked me off. I found the entirety of the MSQ to be tedious in the extreme. Like I was getting half the story other MMO's provide but artificially stretched out 10 fold by injecting worthless quest step after worthless quest step. Go here, talk to alphinaud. Next step, go there and talk to alphinaud again (nothing of value done by me in between). Repeat x10. Part of good writing is focusing on the essential (Checkov's Gun) and things that move the story or character growth forward, but SE did not employ "good writing" and it felt intentional.

Then the ending which was blatantly telegraphed except for the part that the Warrior of Light runs like a coward! Really? Not one attempt at bloodshed on my part? Oh hell no! But hey, the destroyer of all that is big bad and evil is totally outmatched by an unarmed merchant and his handful of guards.

And then that same little twit shows up in HW and says, "guess what? Everyone's OK. Queen's OK, except for destroying her dreams of equality. You're OK, except for ruining your reputation. And I got to kill a rival. And moar powah for me! ALL GOOD!" Little snot should not have made it out of that room alive.

Found out there was a MSQ-skip you could buy the next day for HW and oh happy day! Still debating about buying it for Stormblood

I've encountered some rude individuals and have successfully been griefed by other players who likely intended to do so, but I don't believe I have ever become genuinely by the words or actions of other players.

I also have never become angry while losing or failing duties or tasks, I actually love failing and learning from my mistakes and helping allies overcome trials that weren't initially successful towards completing.

However, sometimes RNG mechanics **** me in my *** to the point where I start ****ing ***, and I genuinely do end up in quite a sour mood as a result.

Some bad players who just think about themselves and insult and have no respect with other. It makes me angry to see that. And rng made me angry when i run something and my roll is always bad and when i don't get portals after 3 rounds of maps and of course the bad rng system for housing. I can't wait it go away. Others than that, everything else makes me happy.

The only time i get angry is by certain individuals when doing trials/etc.. These certain individuals would screw up or die by the same mechanic over and over and over and they would just never learn. So when given insight or told "Hey, there's a 5min video guide on Youtube", they get all defensive. I understand people wanting to go in "Blind" but that decision of yours is wasting the parties time by you being selfish.
