What if they were to make it a special achievement for any player who ranked in the top 12 twelve during all Shadowbringers ranking periods? We're getting the separate achievements so SE could easily track that information. And quite honestly, the title sounds a lot more fitting for someone who had accomplished that instead of just ranking top 12 in a single season.
I'm a little confused on how this is better.

A title hunter is still screwed, especially if they didn't do season 1 because they were under the impression they could just do it later.
