Anyone switched from viera back to their original race

Yeah, I switched. My girl was stunning but the customization weirdness got to me right away. What’s frustrating is if I didn’t know Viera lacked so many options verses the other races, I doubt I’d be bothered at all since they have the very best defaults.

Pretty much. I still think they are the best looking race (both rava and veena), it just really stings how limited they are, and how long it's been since they stated that we would get updates. Like, it's gotten to a point where I don't even think the covid excuse really applies. It was already like 7 months before covid, and now another 7 months. It's getting pretty ridiculous. I don't even think they even said we were gonna get a lot of new hairstyles for viera (or updates to hrothgar), since they would be race specific. I'd be happy if they'd even release them one at a time, rather than all at once, well I assume they have been working to release them all at once.. or I hope they have some already finished..

I was baffled to see all the unlockable hairstyles aren’t compatible. Did SE really hate the Au Ra horns clipping that much?

I went back to Keeper of the Moon like a month after turning into a Veena. Reached a point where the lack of hairstyles, and lack of good hairstyles (from the ones available), was too bothering to ignore

What I am now isn't my original, but it is the second race I have ever played as. I didn't even last a month on Viera and I really wanted to for longer, but the limitations bothered me too much. Plus they are too tall for my tastes.

Started Au Ra, then went Viera, then went back, then went back again. I missed being tall, and I prefer the more reserved emotes. I only used like three hats anyway, but I do miss my tail sometimes.

Tail is the biggest thing I don't like about those races! Au ra, and miqo'te. Especially miqo'te, at least the au ra tail clipping isn't too bad. I'd play Hyur over miqo'te normally if they had better animations in general, a lot because of the tail.

As a Viera, I really liked 2-3 hairstyles
That’s a shame because their emotes were fitting my irl self quite good (I’m in my thirties and I loved looking more mature in game).

It really annoys me because if Viera had wide customization options and better hairstyles they'd probably be my forever race. I love their aesthetic. Being locked out of things earned or bought was the deal breaker.
