...I always thought Cecil was a Darkknight...? You know, the dual sword wielding class we already have as a tank and that you seem to main...? Or is "Twilight Knight" refering to his ability to constantly switch between Paladin and Darkknight and you want a job who does something similar?

I feel like introducing a class that does this risks making the class fantasy of drk and pld suffer because it would become a less defining thing for them if another class also heavily uses these specific elements of magic/aether.

However I'm not against the idea itself if the hypothetical class used different elements such as water and lightning. Right now we don't have a class in which these particular elements are what they specifically specialise in clearly far above all other elements. Or maybe we do (?) and I'm wrong but I woke up only a little while ago so perhaps my memory is failing me

Dark knight here uses a two handed sword, dual sword wielding would be a sword in main hand and off hand..
