A Twightlight Knight Job Class

FF4 Cecil from Dissidia comes to mind besides the glitter vampires we are all thinking of. I'd love to see this as a dual sword wielding job class. Maybe even make the swords have fusion aspect to them like Cloud's fusion sword from FF7 Advent children. What do you all think?

I think by dual sword wielding, they mean something like NIN... but then that's something Cecil never did in Dissidia.

I feel like introducing a class that does this risks making the class fantasy of drk and pld suffer because it would become a less defining thing for them if another class also heavily uses these specific elements of magic/aether.

However I'm not against the idea itself if the hypothetical class used different elements such as water and lightning. Right now we don't have a class in which these particular elements are what they specifically specialise in clearly far above all other elements. Or maybe we do (?) and I'm wrong but I woke up only a little while ago so perhaps my memory is failing me

Cecil was both a paladin and a dark knight. In dissidia he can just switch back and forth between the two at will.

I think it'd be interesting to see. Like how Red Mage switches between Dark and Light magic to build its meter gauge

The only other job class that uses water and lightning magic is Red Mage, unless you count Blue Mage.

Thinking about what you said, maybe a Twilight Knight could be like Red Mage where it's a less powerful version of both Paladin and Dark Knight in terms of elemental affinity and instead utilizes one element to boost the other when it comes to certain attacks? I'd have to think on what types of attacks it could perform though.

Lol, I completely forgot Gabranth dual wielded! Hmm, now your making me think about how a Magitek Knight Judge could use dark and light magic to bolster its strikes.

Like having one sword attuned to darkness and the other to light and since we've been to both the Void and the First, maybe we could somehow derive the power of darkness from the void and Eden's Sin Eater aspected light to give a Twilight Magitek Judge access both elements...? Lol, while I know that probably wouldn't make much sense to how a Twilight Judge could use dark and light magic maybe something else could help do that though. xD

Dark knight here uses a two handed sword, dual sword wielding would be a sword in main hand and off hand..

Would rather it be a melee jobs, less redundant. and maybe use something else besides swords.

I mean a job with a Twilight theme would definitely fit the WoL/D after recent developments,and could even be the headlining job for 6.0 if theya re ending the Ascian arc there
