Wait, are we further speculating on exactly how it will be implemented? I thought nobody knew that, which is the defense against the naysayers. From what I gather, fundamentally, it will be either in the form of bonus EXP in battles, or a direct reward upon login.

In either case, I say nay. Because if it's designed to be worthwhile, and it will be, it could potentially and unnecessarily deprive the community of active players.

My point is, is you either have the time to play an MMO, or you don't. Don't make those who do and expect a challenging, and therefore rewarding experience suffer.

Chrissakes, new players are damn near bound to being powerleveled because of powerleveling itself.

LOL you cannot compare GA to rested exp, GA was for everyone and recharged at the same time, you could use it on one leve and not use it on the other. I've said many times, I will welcome anything BUT rested exp, you know, an exp ring (AVAILABLE FOR EVERYONE) ya know.

I don't like where one set of people can have something where another set can't just by if you log off or not.

What of the people who just sit afk with stuff in there bazzar all week and play it on the weekends?
What about the people who do stuff on the game all week and only level on the weekends?
Rested exp is not a good idea. Or as mr. Bangbang likes to say "It's not a creative idea/thought"

There is no acceptable middle ground.

Pomp, what is the point that I'm missing?

Kailea, again, what are the reasonings you see?

^^ You're right, no reason to compare. I'll just leave this here and let you sleep on it, baby baby let you sleep on it and give me an answer in the morning.

Rokien is a good troll. He really makes me laugh, I'll be happy if he sticks around. He's Batman and I'm Joker; what happens when an unstoppable force meets and immovable object?

I asked a simple question and this is how you answer? From the looks of it, you don't have anything better to say.

The point I believe he was trying to make is that you still come out of top regardless of whether or not that filthy little casual gets his exp bonus or not, and that, as such, your complaints have little validity to them. This is akin to having an $80k/year job and complaining that people who got laid off from Arby's are allowed to collect $125/week in unemployment for six months. You're still making $80k/year, and they're still jobless and far below the poverty line after slaving away at a goddamn Arby's for who knows how long. Are you that concerned with solidifying your place among the chosen/elite/'not sucky' that you'd rather stamp out the slightest measure of relief for someone than simply shrug and MoveOn.org?

I understand how some can be against it on principle. The type of tripe -- oh, excuse me, "talking point" -- you're on is that, "Well, the casuals will never be able to measure up, anyway, so why bother even giving them that much?"

Exactly. There's no good point as to why it's even necessary. Just as there was no good reason for the fatigue system. Here's another real-life scenario for you: Person A works for his money and is paid well. Person B lives on welfare because they either cannot find work or would rather live off the government, sucking away at person A's efforts.

    Congratulations on your graduation, btw.
