Literally all you do is respond to single sentences in posts that corner you with nothing burger answers to make it look like you are giving an analytical response. Yet everything you've typed so far is literally AIR.
> Go talk to the GMs and get an answer from them.
Nooo nonono the GM's don't talk about this stuff...
> Why don't you condemn the original poster for breaking the rules?
Nooo nonono I don't want to get involved by telling someone what is wrong...
> Why are you telling me being selfish is wrong?
Nooo nonono it's selfish but its not, but it is in five minutes from now after I'm done typing...
> If you're going to call out players, why aren't you calling out other players who are also 'morally wrong'?
Nooo nonono it's not up to me to call people out it's up to the GMs...
> But you just said the GMs dont talk about that stuff and you just called me out.
Noooo nonono......
Ok Consuella, why are you even here in the first place?
Except this is not the law of the land. Try again.

It is very clear that your intention here is not to argue your stance about house hoarding, but to vilify me. You criticise others for this behaviour but you engage in it yourself. How lovely.
I am not going to berate someone else on their behaviour just because you demand it with a borderline tantrum or attempt to guilt me into it. How strangers act is not my responsibility. Just like how I am not telling other house hoarders to get you off of my back, because you are not their responsibility.
And you clearly ignored when I said people on both sides of the fence need to improve their behaviour because pretending I never said this suits your agenda. I'm not taking the bait anymore. This will be last time I respond to you. I have better things to be doing than defending myself against someone whose intention is to distort what I say to make me look bad, while they are complaining about this sort of behaviour from others.
There will be no convincing you of anything because you are not on a quest for truth, you are on a quest for defamation. You may continue this if you wish, just know that I will no longer see it after this post.

*slow clap*
WOW, welcome to our world. Suddenly when there are fangs pointed at you, now you're scared and afraid. We have been dealing with this behavior for WEEKS, MONTHS, YEARS. Suddenly you're in the hot seat for FIVE MINUTES and you're already breaking down. NOW you are concerned that being vilified is bad. You are absolutely pathetic. You can't argue a stance with people who have already decided you are the villain.
Well welcome to the club buddy. Maybe you should finally take the time to reflect and understand how the rest of us who were minding our own business felt when you came along with your posse and threw us under the bus. Yet just like with housing, you and people alike cannot stand on your own two feet to make something of yourself, get that gil, get those houses and man up. And now here we are, you get a taste of being 'the bad guy' for a few minutes, and you're already buckling at the knees.
You want to solve housing? The ball is in your court, talk to the GMs. Don't want to talk to GMs and want to be wishy washing about everything? Then this is what you're going to get. I did my homework and I did my part, how about you do an inkling of work sometimes and contribute to this discussion.

Lol if you think this is the first time I experienced this then you have not been on the housing forums for very long or you have not been paying attention.
Also I was not vilifying players in this thread in the manner which others have been accused so the lesson is being taught to the wrong person. Well done. Maybe aim better next time to get the correct target.

Wow you're actually proud you taught me the lesson you wanted to teach someone else who was doing something I did not. Uh grats I guess.
My god. Some of you are just as bad as those you complain about. I should have known better than to expect fairness from people who knowingly abuse an unfair system. This is the only lesson you have taught me. That you are exactly what your actions say you are.

Once. Again.
It's not abusing a system. How many times do people need to tell you that before you listen to it? Several people (in several threads at this point) have pointed out time and time again that people owning multiple houses is not abusing any system, nor against the rules. People have owned multiple houses since the Housing System first ever came out. Y'know, back when gil required effort to collect? But merely mentioning that would probably give someone the thought of saying "Well lets go back to that time then!" and.. No. It wouldn't be any better, infact it'd be worse.
The only "lesson" that needs to be taught, throughout this entire thread and all of its conflicting "Well you're a bad person" name-calling is simple.
Just because you don't agree with what someone else does makes it a punishable offense. Everyone has the exact same chance to get housing at <insert plot, ward, district, etc here> and some people actually put in the time and effort to achieve what they want to spectacular feats of accomplishment. Stop trying to start a fight because someone has more than one house and actually use the plots they own. Going back to the original 'offender' that owns an entire ward on Spriggan, it's pretty simple. Those housing plots were empty, devalued to the lowest possible amount and even then, nobody touched them or even showed any care about them. But when they're bought up and put to use? Oh, well. Then the pitchforks have to come out!
Get off your Amaro and actually try for once. Instead of whine that things aren't the way you want them to be. By the twelve, it's getting worse on this place by the hour.
And before anyone responds with the generic "Well, I have a job" or "I have a life" sort of responses? Nobody cares. If you want a virtual plot in a virtual game that badly, then you will make time to get it, just like everybody else. If that offends you in some fashion, then give up and move on to something else. Because it's clear this isn't for you.

Honestly sis, you vilify yourself. You don't need any help from anyone else.
Most of the people speaking against you and others with your views aren't "house hoarders", we're regular players who may or may not have a house of our own in the first place. I've had my apartment in a certain infamous place in Mateus since I first transferred to this server and periodically, people will advert it on the forums or social media (either twitter or tumblr) and people will come by, raid the place, leave nasty notes in message books hoping to harass the owners into quitting the game.
Every time I see these stupid threads on the forums, I just think about how I had to spend three hours spam reporting in-game slurs and insults and inviting my friends to do the same this very week because a few dozen people decided to send some polly pocket house owner death threats because of video game housing. That those people feel totally vindicated by these other witch hunts is what is truly vile to me.
But no - go on. I'm sure it's because all of us own 400 houses.
World might burn. Heaven might fall. Candy abides.

I did not call anyone out on their house ownership with screenshots
I did not engage in literal name calling
I did not demand the opposition do anything
I did not attempt to start a witch hunt by targetting one person's houses in particular with information such as character names or locations
I did not do a lot of the things some complained about from other players in the thread
It looks like to me that only thing I have done to vilify myself is dare to disagree with some of you about whether hoarding should be allowed or not.
Yes I did eventually say some of you are abusing the housing system but this was after I literally had several people gang up on me to teach me a lesson for something I did not even do. Because you know what? It felt like I was being treated the same way as some of you treat the housing system: "I do this because I can."
I tried to be civil but this is meaningless to you for the simple fact that we're not on the same side. When OP was no longer around to be targeted for whatever ill deeds you claimed they did, you moved on to me. A convenient target even though I had not done what they did.
And then you all pat each other on the back for ganging up on me to teach me a lesson for things I did not do. I would ask how you think this makes you look but it's clear that you do not care. Some of you only care that you feel good about making someone else feel awful.
I'm a regular voice against house hoarding and you hate it so much that you're trying to push me away from the conversation to make it as unpleasant as possible for me. Well sorry to inform you but you're not going to make me shut up about it. I have a right to use my voice and I will continue to use it.
I will however take my leave of this thread because it is no longer about house hoarding at all. It has turned into the exact messes I spoke about in earlier posts. I have no interest in keeping such a thing alive. See you again on the next inevitable thread that criticises your housing habits.
EDIT: and before someone else says "bUt yOu TrIeD tO tElL PeOpLe tHe MeAnInGs Of PeRmIsSiOn AnD SeLFiShNeSs" it was only because someone else had done that first and I felt they were distorting the meanings to suit their argument. Permission to do something does not mean doing that thing is automatically not bad, and a selfish act does not need real life consequences to be selfish. Apparently I deeply offended some people with this one. A bit amusing.
