Housing Ideas and Feature Requests

What I would like added:
- A Tankard tabletop item (with ale in it animation)
- Those tiny shot Tankards in front of Girutt’s shop in Lakeland
- The casks id Ale begins Girutt
- A Bartender NPC, or NPC who strickly sells drinks and snacks
- This one kinda goes with gold saucer as well as housing, but a Darts game. Could be like the arcade games in gold saucer with a strength meter, as well as a circular spin circle to throw the dart to certain areas of the dart board

One thing I would really like is to have housing food that was comparable to current food for that patch. I.e. ovim meatballs buffs on a placeable food item--one that was essentially 10x ovim meatballs recipe ingredients to craft. Not cheaper, but a housing food that was actually WORTH eating. Most housing food is prettymuch worthless. Cute. Neat for RP. But prettymuch worthless.

For the 4/6/8 garden plots, I'd like the option to tend/fertilize all the crops at once.

A fully blank wall for wallpaper, with no ceiling or floor molding. The Blank (City State) Partitions are a pain to work with when you want the wallpaper but can't stand the molding that comes with the partition.

Individually adjustable Interior Lighting (for the ceiling lamp basically), so that you can make a nice, cozy basement den with only glowing objects and wall lamps, while having a nice, formal entrance area in an FC building, for example. Alternately, an 'empty' ceiling lamp item that removes that light source.

In addition to this I would love dyeable wallpaper. It's sometimes so difficult to find a wallpaper that works for what you want because even if the colour is right the pattern may not be.

Now, I have never owned a house in FF14. still want one, but I can never afford one let alone Get one.

Things I suggest for houses, a second floor for small houses. I have heard they are basically the same size as an apartment, but since they are a house and not an apartment with a 40 days of no login you lose the house "that's still there I assume."

-Dye-able wallpaper and flooring, seems like a good idea.
-Maybe for medium houses or larger a area for a mount? I generally use my motocycle because I love it, so why not have a addition area where a mount can be placed or "living" if said mount is not a machine that is "alive". I would make a small area with like tools and machinery of sorts that look as though they could be used to "maintain" said motorcycle.

Tools and such for indoor furnishings, like tool racks, tables, work benches and such. its all just for looks anyway does not need to actually have a use.

-How about more "exotic" furnishings, like Garlean styled and more allagan style. ?
also why not have like, weapon racks? mountain racks? that you can mount on the walls to display weapons? not mannequins tho. and that Do Not take up a spot of retainer space.
-I think if we "own" a house we should also be able to change things in or out, like the front door. and windows inside and out. even if its just a "skin" of a different door and same for the windows as you cannot see through them anyway.

How about a adding a smaller shed or "smaller building" to the land around it that has a room as well, the size of the building can be changed for the plot type and can function as extra space with basically the same size as a or half the size of an apartment which you could also decorate to your liking.

This smaller space /room/ could simply be an additional smaller space within that houses "instance" I don't know how these are setup I'm just putting ideas out there.

I would love to see a fully customizable house where I can make the following changes:

1) Move the location of the stair, make it wider or separate it into 2 stairs.
1) Allow you to add & move doors inside so you can for example make shortcuts to allied FC houses or simply fill up a room with NPC sellers dedicated to FC demand (mini market).
3) Allow you to enter balcony from first floor and add a ladder to get to the roof.
4) Allow you to make the balcony wider, place it lower or higher or move it around the building (diff side) "or" delete it entirely (also removing the door).
5) Allow you to place furniture on the balcony.
6) Allow you to use interior floors on the exterior.
7) allow you to change the material of the stair, including the carpet (& texture) on them.
8) Allow you to store & upload designs based on their location so others can see your builds online and fast apply it to their own house.
9) Allow you to demolish the basement in exchange for more space on the main and 1st story.
10) Allow you to choose the location of ceiling chandeliers and add more or remove all entirely.
11) Allow you to dye wall & floor textures including doors & windows.
