This in itself also comes down to a botting issue and one that they have yet to take care of even as far as the market is concerned. Just look at last seasons gathering ranking and all the people who saw bots.Thinking that this is a problem that will only happen on some servers is so delusional lmao
And again like I said earlier, this is not like Feast. Skill doesn't really matter here, someone will eventually post BiS and half macros publicly for crafters, and for gatherers it's a matter of how long you can spend in Diadem for 10 days. It's a grinding contest more than anything else, that requires time and energy.
You had the time and energy to grind for 56h, not everyone has that privilege. So why should the same people who can afford that get the top 12 rewards every season?
Do you not see how there's no proper competition if not everyone who's lvl 80 full BiS + melded + food + pots + crafting/gathering knowledge has the same chances at rankings because they don't have the same amount of time and energy?
Well, let me just say this:
I only just recently leveled up Blacksmithing. I'm very much new to the "crafting game", and as such, I really don't feel like I have any hope of "competing" with other players to get any of these cool titles. So, I kind of feel like it might be a wasted effort to participate at all.
If anything can be done to make it a *little* more likely I *could* achieve a cool title, I would honestly be pretty ecstatic about it.
Take that however you will.
Thats utter nonsense.I think people are yet again trying to "scapegoat" bots as a reason to not put enough effort into it and just have SE nerf this (probably by giving out titles to anyone who participates)
People want squeenix to stick to their stated plans for the titles; stated plans which factored into how people approached the content initially.
We knew that bots would be a thing, and they were. We figured there would be slightly less for subsequent rounds (maaaaaybe that happens). As someone who doesnt give a crap about titles (I hide them and dont care what anyone elses is as I'll never see it), it comes down to the nonsense way its been handled from the first info we got about it all the way through until now. And even the original live letter info on it (because that whole 'doesnt get translated beforehand or for week(s) after never comes back to bite anyone or anything) was different than the first translated info we got. I am not the only person who thought those titles were temporary and would go away after the next phase started based on that mis-translated info.
Good news! As a fellow non-Balmung Crystal Crafter you're likely be able to rank for the top 100 title if you want. The lowest on our servers was about 20 of the worst quality expert crafts. The hardest part will be getting the gear and stats, so start making money I guess! It would be time consuming to to it with non expert crafts but still possible if you really wanted.Well, let me just say this:

The bar for getting the Beata title was very low on most worlds in season one. On Diabolos, you could have gotten it just by turning in 3 Expert items with a rating of 6k or better as BSM, or 115 of the normal level 80 items at max rating.Well, let me just say this:

If you like whatever title they end up using, give it a try. Competition may be more serious this time but not so much so that you should feel like you don't have a chance. Artisanal mats have been very cheap on the MB due to the fairly limited number of players doing Expert recipes. Pick some up and start practicing.
You'll still be earning scrip to buy the scrip rewards so it's not wasted effort.
Seems to be no 5.31 on the horizon yet. 4.31 was only 2 weeks after 4.3 but I suppose more things we can chalk up to Covid. Still, having no word yet on if they've settled on a decision continues to be a bit worrying.
Do we get a Live Letter prior to a X.X1 patch? I'm uncertain now, but would be nice to hear the Firmament title addressed prior to the patch.
Has SE said anything about handling the situation of people being in multiple top 10s/100s differently? There's no reward for doing so (you can't be awarded the title 5x times) and all it does is lock players out of the achievement/title. Feels like an oversight that they don't just count you on the rankings once (highest score or player chosen profession) if there isn't any benefit to you being on multiple boards.
It is a different title from a different achievement. There's no reward for doing so (you can't be awarded the title 5x times)
Thats one of the major things people are upset about.
