Honestly? This is the biggest thing.
I'd even be fine if turning the item into a glam straight up consumed the item like it does in WoW, if that meant we could bypass or greatly extend the item limit.
As someone who loves fashion and glamming and stuff, juggling my glams and items in my dresser is the most frustrating thing I deal with in this game, and that says a lot (both good and bad lol).

This is related, but not quite the same, but I wish they'd also extend the items in the armoire. There are a lot of event glams and stuff that feel like they should fit in the armoire, but don't. Though, if they redid the glam system, they could entirely do away with the armoire and combine it in with the glam dresser itself, so this wouldn't be an issue either.

If not shared storage, then at least ability to mail stuff to alts on the same server. SE, please. Swtor got it crossfaction, why can't we have that. Oh yeah, potato code.

It's kinda funny because I get more of that "raid feel" from the 24-mans than I do the 8-man raids. I would love to have that sort of sense of traversal, like you're actually exploring and making your way through an area. As far as the logistics of it, well, I suppose you'd have to have a checkpoint system of some kind... Idk.
These are some of my biggest gripes about both the overworld and the raids. The XIV team creates these amazing zones but there isn't really anything to do in them, once you're done with the MSQ for that zone there is very little reason to spend more time in them besides gathering nodes, treasure maps and the occasional hunt which leaves these zones rather devoid of life.

I certainly agree with the point about raids as well. Maybe I'm just used to it from WoW but for me raids are these massive zones you traverse while occasionally killing trash to get to the next boss, it gives them a sense of scale and makes them feel like they're a place in the world where "things" are actually living in. Coil and Alexander did an okay job at making the 8man raids feel like you're actually "raiding" a place but everything after that is just a flat square, sometimes a circle, with a boss in it.

-I'd like it if they brought in a system akin to GW2's Dynamic Events when designing future FATES. FATES are just so one dimensional and boring, so having the option to, well, have options as to how to complete them would be fun in my eyes. Don't want to fight enemies? Okay, go collect all the beer bottles. Little stuff like that breaks up the monotony.
-A proper account wide glamour system would be amazing. Nothing deters me from making alts more than the realization I'll need to recollect everything I have on my main. They could even just make it tied to dungeon glamour and only in so far as you can transmog the appearance without the actual item being present and I'd be happy.
-The ability to show off mounts in your house. We have mannequins for glamour, why not mannequins that would morph into one of our unlocked mounts once selected?
    -A better dye system.

The biggest thing for me would be buy orders for the MB.

Speaking of MB, a single UI would be amazing. Cycling through 4-5 menus to check prices then post an item is needlessly tedious.

WoW raids are glorified trash packs in between bosses you are actually interested in. It is a blessing from heaven that a developer finally admitted this and just allows you to queue directly into the boss you care about. Forcing guilds to clear 8 bosses they can care less about just to get to the 9th boss with the gear and actual challenging mechanics is not good raid design.

Blizzard even admits the first 4 bosses are intended for the most casual people in their playerbase. Do you have any clue how much of an annoyance it is to do reclears of raids every week just to finally get to the one boss you want after a 2 hour raid.

FF14 is extremely superior in multiple ways but the WoW nostalgia makes people forget how horrible it was on farm doing the same trash and pointless bosses week after week after week.

Buy-sell orders and a simple, streamlined MB UI would be amazing.

However, if there's one thing I've learned about SE, it's that they really have a thing for menus. One can never have enough menus to sort through.

Ah, good old blind WoW hatred on XIV forums, always refreshing /s

Now if you took a moment you would've noticed that I never mentioned that I want the XIV raids to exactly like WoW, I even gave an example of raids within the game that were, in my opinion, done better than what they are currently doing.

Alexander on normal mode had trash that took you maybe 2 minutes to get past but it made the whole thing a lot more fleshed out, almost as if you were traversing through parts of Alexander to fight the boss. It even solved your problem of "glorified trashpacks" because the savage version completely skipped the trash without making it feel like you're fighting a trial boss in the middle of nowhere. Your point about "annoying reclears until you get to the boss you want" is also not a WoW exclusive thing. In case you didn't know you still have to do E5-7S first if you want to kill Shiva until they lift the weekly restriction on savage.

If you want even more similarities then the "first 4 bosses intended for the most casual people" are simply the complete raid tier on normal.

Let me give you another good example from within the game, the 24mans. You traverse an internally consistent zone boss to boss until you make it to the end. The trash isn't there to challenge you in any way, it's a break between the actual fights.

I'd love to see areas of the map get highlighted when a fate chain is in effect to show something bigger is happening than a one-off filler fate, and have something pop up on the duty list about it. Something akin to GW2's meta events.

I wasn't a fan of how the binding coils series were all seprately instanced when the game came out, but I grinned and beared it 'cause it still kinda felt like I was traversing something and delving into some kind of twisted adventure. Then Alexander came out and I sighed a sigh of disappointment, 'cause it was a bit more of the same but even more condensed.. At least there were those few movement puzzles. Then came omega, really fun fights, but I HAAAAAATED the tier because it was essentially a tournament arc, just contextless fights in square or circular rooms with no exploration or efforts to build a setting. And now Eden is more of the same. I'm sick and tired of opening a door, stepping into a room, and having the game tell me "SIC 'EM" to the only enemy they think is worth describing in an arena that might as well be an untextured box or cylinder. "Trash" mob pulls CAN be made interesting (yadda yadda something something wildstar) but this game and its community really only sees raiding and encounters as a means to an end. The faster the loot can be distributed while still ticking the "we did a fight" sensation, the better, unfortunately. There doesn't seem to be any room for worldbuilding outside of the in-between-fights cutscenes in normal modes now.
