What are some things from other MMOs or games in general that you wish were in FFXIV?

All cool suggestions so far the Mythic +/ Challenging group content seems to be something that is requested in both this thread and the reddit one, the glamour log in the vein of GW2/ Wow and wider customization options seems to be consistent throughout this thread as the most popular in this thread so far.

All suggestions offered in other games I play now and have in the past. (except last one)

1. Ability to dye both a primary color and secondary color to ALL gear, dungeon, raid,
white quality etc

2. A full spectrum dye with sliding scale to adjust and choose the EXACT color I
want/saturation as well.

3 HIGH HEELS!! MORE HIGH HEEL SHOES and boots, please STOP adding ugly claws
or tights , just high heel pumps and few boots (not platform) stiletto! ... with NO
class restriction! add to a vendor or mog station.

4 Instanced housing like Rift! 100% the best housing in any game.
Available to ALL, equally, cheaply and immediately. Can still visit others homes, just in
an instanced setting.

5. Rift style "housing design ui", with all the goodies to 100% control, adjust and
manipulate all aspects of any piece of furniture + the ability to actually BUILD ! it is
incredibly superior to the drop and forget mentality of ffxiv housing.. (it is very boring
and unimaginative.)

6. ability to use ANY gear as glamour regardless of ones "armor proficiency"
/role/class

7. ability to return to old 24 man raids and solo.

8. Glamour designs "learned" once obtained. You dont need to store them anywhere
..just just choose them from a book... No limits on quantity needed.

9. - Ability to send and share ANY gear/gil + mail (anything!) to ANY of my alts, on my
server!
- should have an "account shared" chest
- No need for creating extra unnecessary grand companies that are also too limiting,
for a service that should be default.
- characters SHOULD have free reign to anything on my account...period.
- Many things are a tad "spastic" in the game. loosen the iron grip.

10. (this one is just a wish not from any other NEED TO HAVE FULL CREDIT FOR
SOLO CONTRIBUTIONS AT ALL HUNTS.

Official acceptance of parsers and 3rd party add ons. I honestly think the community would be helped tremendously if they embraced these. You have players who are struggling and by giving them these tools, you can help them enjoy the game so much more.

That sounds really cool, but I've never heard of that in an MMO.
What MMOs have that?

Everquest II had dungeon maker from 2011. You would run dungeons and raids to get the parts to make your own. Other players could come in and rate your dungeon.
Dungeons would scale to the number of people in your party.

Newer players can't afford it and get bashed for not having it in group content. Remember, a NIN without Utsusemi: Ichi or Ni will be kicked immediately from a party. Or what if the WHM cannot afford Raise, or Haste, or Protect?

These days I imagine it would be reaaaally bad. Lol. So perhaps the ship has sailed for that exact requirement in MMOs, but I do wish ffxiv was a bit more...fleshed out, involved.

Actual support classes and not just dps with a party buff ability.

Also some kind of illusion of choice in which skills / play style you have. Yes I know it’s impossible for it to be a real choice because balance and ‘everyone will pick the best’ etc, but they could at least pretend that ‘DPS Job with extra X’ isn’t the only play style that exists for all 17 (16?) battle classes between all three roles

I miss the control class. The need to mitigate mobs by making sure they are status inflicted to prevent them from joining a fight before the rest were dealt with.
