I don't believe for a second that any of you people who think that things are fine as is and that the whole group deserves to wipe if one person fails the QTE are going to be happy about it when one of those people who can't clear the QTE ends up in your party.

Cool, ask for a solution that only affects you. Not ask to change the whole fight for everyone, over a small group of people.

We ask the developers to change not the whole fight (if you did not read carefully), we ask to change the QTE. For example, so that the whole group does not die because one player failed.

Funny, all I see here on this board constantly is people using the disability card for pity or to make the game easier more than already is.

No one wants your or anyone else's pity. Please read the beginning of this thread carefully and stop inventing non-existent reasons.

Ofc I'm devaluing them. Because you and others are overvaluing them, enough that you can ask for the game to change for everyone. Aren't you devaluing me in the first place, over my "contrived challenges"?

More than one person here has said that they are pressing a button through real physical pain. Is this an overvaluation?

What you are all doing now is asking for the game to solve your issues for you, instead of working and finding alternate solutions. Trump carding disabilities because finding solutions is too hard.

I wouldn't be surprised if some people here are just arguing along with the mindset of "I just want the trial to be AFKable".

Part of the thoughts crossing my mind about a lot of the complaints at this point. I spaced out on that thing for about the first 1-2 seconds and still succeeded while lazily tapping 2 keys and the space bar the first time doing it. It was just a bit confusing to have it reset back to the beginning without any kind of duty fail notice after seeing it say I succeeded. It's not like they are telling you to input the konami code 3 times in 5 seconds.

I've run this by people I know with mental disabilities and it's simple enough for them to complete with little issue

I've watched people with physical and motor skill disabilities complete this without issue.

At this point to me it seems more like the people complaining about this with the excuse of someone having issues due to disability is more degrading and offensive to the people that actually have disabilities than anything else in this thread. Then again most of the people I know with disabilities were born before 1980 and get annoyed at people trying to make accommodations for them when they don't ask for it first. Especially when its not needed. So maybe its a millenial thing.

Firstly. How big is your group of people with disabilities that you have "tested" this mechanic on?

Secondly. Just because these people have coped with it does not mean that people with other physical problems will.

Kind of tired of the whole "my friend with a disability can do it so can you" arguments. Mental Illness and disabilities are wide ranged, something someone with a disability can do doesn't mean that a person with a different disability or even the same but more intense can do it too. I have an anxiety disorder, theres a list of things that I can do and others with the same disorder can not because mental illness isnt cookie cutter. Disabilities, illnesses, people, are all different.

My disabled grandpa didnt care when I carried him from his wheelchair to his bed so Im doubting your 1980s statement. Its probably a question with how sensitive they are about it. Its ok to ask for help.

Seriously, they could just do what other devs have done and add an accessibility option that turns mash QTEs to holds. Or just not have them, because they serve no real purpose. Certainly doesn’t force people to get better at the game, because it has nothing to do with standard play.

Don't speak for me... I beat it on the first day and we had people in our party who failed. ALOT. But after what was like 40 or so mins we cleared. And it was fantastic. Why? Because at first we didn't know one fail would wipe us.. once we found that out we loled and got our shit together. Worse come to worse disband and reque. I made a request earlier in this thread saying what if they just changed the QTE but kept the wipe mech. That's the part I and a few others like. I WANT people to not afk in my runs. And that mech wakes mofos up. It's ok for normal mode to be abit punishing for once. It's better then super omega huggable pats on head easy mode we always get. Why don't we ask SE to change the QTE instead of instantly nerfing every mofo thing? Why is NERF the first thing people do. Change how the QTE works but don't nerf.

Make it a QCF or a DDR thing. Something? Or do people just want easy baby pat on head carebare mode ONLY? :c
