No, this is not a challenge, this is an absolutely unreasonable move in a casual game that players with different abilities go through, forcing them to press the button many times, and then, if they cannot do this, oppose the whole group that has a wipe.

What you are doing now is common bullying. For the reason that you do not like the fact that others from their position, politely report the shortcomings of the game mechanics. I bet you will soon be disappointed with this mechanic when someone will start trolling your group.

We ask the developers to change not the whole fight (if you did not read carefully), we ask to change the QTE. For example, so that the whole group does not die because one player failed.

Great. We're human beings. just like you. We're not different than you. We just have our limitations and for that we're asking for a minor adjustment to the QTE. So many people here should stop trying to be an alpha male gamer diehard who only want the game to cater to what they think is challenging.

We are not asking for pity.

And I am not asking for the fight to be AFK-able. I never AFK during fights, I want them to be engaging and to not cause me physical pain.

Part of the thoughts crossing my mind about a lot of the complaints at this point. I spaced out on that thing for about the first 1-2 seconds and still succeeded while lazily tapping 2 keys and the space bar the first time doing it. It was just a bit confusing to have it reset back to the beginning without any kind of duty fail notice after seeing it say I succeeded. It's not like they are telling you to input the konami code 3 times in 5 seconds.

I've run this by people I know with mental disabilities and it's simple enough for them to complete with little issue

I've watched people with physical and motor skill disabilities complete this without issue.

At this point to me it seems more like the people complaining about this with the excuse of someone having issues due to disability is more degrading and offensive to the people that actually have disabilities than anything else in this thread. Then again most of the people I know with disabilities were born before 1980 and get annoyed at people trying to make accommodations for them when they don't ask for it first. Especially when its not needed. So maybe its a millenial thing.

Firstly. How big is your group of people with disabilities that you have "tested" this mechanic on?

Secondly. Just because these people have coped with it does not mean that people with other physical problems will.

I know with disabilities were born before 1980 and get annoyed at people trying to make accommodations for them when they don't ask for it first. Especially when its not needed. So maybe its a millenial thing.

You are talking such nonsense that others can lose interest in the game due to the fact that there are people like you in it. Because I am officially a volunteer, and if people have tendon or muscle fiber injuries, they can play normally, but not press buttons at high speed for a few seconds, which simply leads to pain or numbness, and since they did not experience such difficulties 7 years, why should they give up everything for one mechanic for the stupid ones who enjoy jumping around the keyboard in the name of spam buttons.
