And i seriously hoped that we will get rid of Trolls as soon as this Game is P2P. There bursts my Bubble.I have a feeling that the current claim system will be revised come ver 2.0
Right now, the player population is so low, w/o some type of level sync lower level players will be up the creek when it comes to leveling at any decent pace.
Once Level sync is implemented in 2.0 the claim system has t be revised in order for people not to exploit a PT set up of 7 high levels with 1 low level to sync to and 1 outside PL.
While they should have fixed PL early on at this point it's too late until ver 2.0
It's still worth bringing it to the devs attention by keeping this on the front page until the end of time if need be.
I see nothing trolling about that. My cousin quit very quickly because the current population is either already past leveling, or only care for power leveling. That's not a good sign in an MMO when power leveling beats out normal grinding or leveling in a party. Even if the population is low, level syncing is still a good idea.
I swear the only people against it are those who hate leveling in MMORPGs or hate being social and partying with people.
Then you didnt play many MMO's at all. I played my first MMO mid 90's and FFXI wasnt the first MMO with Levelsync-System and it wasnt the first MMO which failed at it and made people lazy, so they would stay in the beginner-Zones until the hit the Cap. Thats is very Commen in MMO's with Levelsync-System. "Your Cousin" is guessing out of his personal opinion that FFXIV is in NEED of Levelsync instead of PL. PL AND Levelsync are both Systems which are called "Easy Mode". You swear people which are against it hate leveling and hate beeing social and hate partying with people? Actually i can tell you its the oposite.
i LOVE leveling or why do i have all Classes at 50? Most of them were 50 before PL took Place.
i LOVE partying with other People and experience different Zones/different Mobs and not the same Shit over and over again like "your cousin".
He is complaining about PL-System but want Levelsync? For some People, like me, both Systems are Crap. I dont give a shit about Systems which bring me to the Top in about 1-2 Weeks.
I have actually, and not one of them actually had an exp system where you can actively powerlevel people because many required you to not only be within 2-4 levels of the highest person, they also required you to actively contribute to the battle. (Very typical of Korean and Japanese MMOs.)
Given your attitude, I'm pretty sure you're one of the Necro-All-50s players, since you know, "Level-sync" is easy mode and all. Most of them were 50 before PL took Place.
God.. reading is hard in this Forum, isnt it? i NEVER said a lot of other MMO's have a PL-System, i said other MMO's have LEVELSYNC System. Whats wrong with People and understanding a simple Sentence? That you are blind you proved allready in the other Thread. But happening twice? meh lolI have actually, and not one of them actually had an exp system where you can actively powerlevel people because many required you to not only be within 2-4 levels of the highest person, they also required you to actively contribute to the battle. (Very typical of Korean and Japanese MMOs.)
And the System you described was the actual System in FFXI, before Level-Sync took Place. Good Job you figured how the System have to be! Oh wait.. you actually dont want a System like that.. you want Levelsync. lol
What? lol
Of course i know that Level-sync is Easy Mode. FFXI was the best example for it and there are a couple more MMO's which had Systems similiar to Levelsync which also were a fail, since they made leveling way to easy. Same goes for PL-System. It took me 2 Month to get my first Class to 50, with PL-System it took me 4 Days to get my last up to 50. /Irony on "No thats of course not Easy mode" /Irony off
