    Alliance Roulette desperately needs a split

    I dont think much is needed to be said here. With the upcoming 5.3 and the fact that Crystal Tower raids are gonna become story mandatory those 3 should be merged and splited into a whole new alliance. The influx of new players, those who force ARR to pop and pure RNG itself is making the roulette become "ARR roulette over and over and over and over and again". HW's raids? Havent seen those in months. SB? Popped a couple times due to the Moogle Event, prior to that I spent almost a whole year without getting it. Isnt the purpose of the roulette to reward players for being able to set you possibly everywhere, not just in ARR raids? The same way Praetorium has its own roulette those three ARR raids should have its own separate one.

    Make the roulette be something else than tedious, please, i've been avoiding it like hell cause every single god forsaken time I've gone there it's been LotA, Syrcus or the Wiping World of Darkness.

    I'm having a little trouble following your suggestion.
    Are you saying you'd like two roulettes then? 1 for crystal tower raids and 1 for everything else?
    Or are you requesting they remove the now story mandatory raids from the roulette?

    Either way, I agree. It's sad that the roulette is so completely dominated by just three raids.

    I don't think we need ARR raids in their own roulette.

    We just need the roulette's min iLv to be the iLv requirement of the highest raid you have available on your current job so that people can't force a CT raid every time they queue.

    THIS or each tier gets its own roulett. Im totally fine with random, im not fine with random being 99% lv 50 which locks me from more and more skills...

    I feel like each series of ARs getting a roulette to themselves might be a bit too much,and in fact might go against the grain with how the roulettes are designed and might compel the players to attempt to do them all,which is great for those queuing for the others, but not somuch for those that want time to do anything other than roulettes (which is likely why the 50-70 dungeons are consolidated into one, to prevent people spending their day on multiple roulettes).

    With that said a separate roulette for those that are made mandatory for the MSQ does seem warranted, and would open up the doors for if more raid series like Shadow of Mhach or maybe Return to Ivalice are added to the MSQ (YoHRa is very unlikely)

    Imo we lack an actual story roulett anyways that really includes ALL story dungeons, trials and raids. There should be smt else then Mentor to fill the ques...

    Unless the story suddenly needed EXs or Savage, a single roulette for story related instances is both redundant and arguably ridden with issues wereit be added. People already ditch half the MSQ roulette for not being the other, and Leveling dungeons still has three trap instances that waste the bonus by not giving as much xp as the average dungeon. And those were roulettes where the number of people required are consistent. Adding most the Leveling dungeons, about half of the capped dungeons, most of the trials that aren't WT, Auspices or Weyelt and CTwould just be asking for people to quit when it isn't what they wanted to do (like say Auamrot, Steps of Faith, CT, both MSQ dungeons), just like Lol!Mentor Roulette.

    Put simply if the content is any way difficult and its on a roueltte with easier content, people WILL leave unless the rewards are worth the effort. Having a roulette with that broad a scope will only encourage this.

    Yes. This has been suggested a few times, so it's clearly not that far-fetched.

    I personally don't get why people want Crystal Tower raids so bad. Sure they're 'faster' for people who just want the rewards at the end, but it's so boring. They weren't boring when they were added because mechanics actually mattered. If they adjusted the ilevel scaling so you couldn't just brute force your way through it, it would be more fun and people would probably try to cheese to get it less, but people get mad and tell you to just make a min ilevel PF whenever that gets mentioned. So adjusting the required ilevel for the roulette itself would be easier.

    Wouldn't mind them adding the CT raids into the MSQ Roulette to be honest. It'd be nice to mix that up although they'd probably need adjust the cut scenes to be non skip-able like they have for the current ones.
