I tried to read the Japanese thread on this subject with the help of Google Translate, they seem to be a lot more split on their opinion over there vs here. Though it was heartening to see in the LIX Digest that they said:

However, we understand there may be varying opinions regarding the titles, so the titles may end up different from the one featured in the broadcast.
So we'll see, here's hoping that they don't do more than just add numerals to the titles to distinguish between seasons.
