Those mini games that are the same thing every year are becoming a big blur, the valentione one specially I'm tired of them haha.
If they can't make new mini games just give everything after the story

Well, on the plus side, maybe I can use some of my 7.5 million MGP now.

I'm no expert on XI, but just looking at the list of seasonal events many of them are based on real world events, just like XIV. It would be nice if MMOs had more original events but even when they try to create something new it's gonna feel like it's based on something in RL, since living beings are going to have a lot of the same types of needs and experiences.I'm glad, Gold Saucer is more an Eorzean event, halloween is just a real life event, you can enjoy halloween in real life.
That's one thing I like about FFXI more than XIV, the events are based on the world of the game instead of celebrating events that people can already celebrate in real life.

I'm super bummed, All Saint's is my fave in-game event! I totally understand why, though, and I'm not upset at the reasoning. I'm hopeful they can at least turn the decorations on for awhile, cause they're really cute, even if they can't do much else.

It would be nice if the Haukke Manor games and disguises could still be included with the Make It Rain event. Those are already programmed so there would be no work that needs to be done. Just have them unlock by default when the event begins instead of requiring a quest.

This might actually be a good time to turn the Haukke Manor game into a proper Gate actually now that you mention it. The original Gold Saucer in FF7 had a Haunted Hotel, they could use it as an homage to that or just straight up use it to also give us an inn-room at the Saucer. It would be nice if the Haukke Manor games and disguises could still be included with the Make It Rain event. There's Valentines Day, Doll Festival/Girls Day, Easter, Halloween, Christmas and New Years events in FFXI. There are also non-real world events in FFXI, but to imply FFXI didn't have events based off of real world holidays/events is just silly.
A lot of them are non-real life ones though.U w0t mate?
