They dont need to balance the skills, balance the dungeons and trials like they did in the past multiple times.That makes the assumption that any new player to XIV is also interested in playing WoW. I certainly wasn't interested in playing WoW, and I'm still not.
Sure the devs could balance the skills more. But it would also be hell in lower level dungeons as you'd have even newer players with lvl 80+ rotations, who have no idea what they are doing, making them last even longer. Its bad enough at 80 when healers don't understand how Cure III works, or Tanks don't understand how to use defensive cooldowns.





I meant distribution, not potency. Dungeons and trials that were hard had people complaining nonstop here that "elitist stuff should be endgame content, not casual content"
Also, Not every game needs to appeal to everyone. It is, in fact, ok. I played WoW for 2 weeks. Decided it wasn't for me. I didn't go to their forums and demand the game be changed to fit my preferences. Why is this a thing happening now?
