Learn how to grow them, put time into doing so. Grow a ton of them, sell spares, get profit.

Also check other servers on your DC, might not be 500k everywhere.

The market on onions crashed hard last I checked. I was growing and selling them for a bit when they were 500k, but last time I checked they were only like 100k.

But yeah, weekly challenge bonus exp is the best. I would make a point of going out and farming some fates to thirtyish minutes for a quick and easy hundred kills. Then just try and train them in the stable as often as I could.

Did you not get the two free ones from HW side quests? I think one is tied to a msq or aether current quests. All of the FCs I've been apart of will grow them and let members get one for half the going price. Did you go check other servers on your data center?

Just leaned that I'll need a thavnairian onion to move the level cap up by one every time from now on... At 500K each? No thanks. If I could gather them somewhere, maybe one a week, maybe, but I'm not going to spend ALL my gil just leveling up my bird.

True, but they are stuck on level 10, to obtain more onions is quite easy, just not as easy as two quick quests.

step 2, getting more onions. If you have no access to a house with a garden. Then go get an Apartment for 500k, every housing community has them, and there are plenty of them.

Thavnairian Onion seeds can be planted alone, giving you the option to grow them indoors, saving you a garden bed for more crossing. Ah, my sweet summer child. I ranked mine up to level 20 in ARR when they were 1.5-2mil each, 500k isn't very expensive at all.
