    I’ve been cooking a new GEO concept, lord only knows I’ve done too many already. But I do believe either Healer or DPS could be made unique.

    My new concept is another DPS Caster, and one of the biggest struggles were naming the spells. For example: RDM has stone / aero but under the Ver-(spell).

    Let’s say GEO DPS does drop. I doubt it would have Stone / Aero etc.

    If anything I came up with En-(spell). For Entangle, entangling the elements to fuse into more powerful effects via “terrain and weather”

    GEO DPS could very well be made into BLM style but using Air / Water / Earth and keeping it true to its roots w/ terrain manipulation via weather effects. Rainstorms mixed with Wind could be hurricanes / tornadoes / etc. Mudslides / Dust Storms.

    Ill drop the new concept tonight, it’s just fun coming up w/ Job mockups, maybe one expansion Yoshi P may snag one of our concepts and make it a reality (doubtful) but wishful thinking.

    I'm looking forward to this I always enjoy reading them!

    We have two lines of spells in game to go off of for Geomancer at this point in time:
    1) Kyokuho the Geomancer currently running the only Geomancer school in the world (that we know of) using Qi of Water, Qi of Earth and Qi of Wind. A heal, stone direct damage and wind direct damage. As well as some instant cast damage spell that I do not know the name of.
    2) The Sai Taisui in Swallow's Compass and Heaven on High using their own Malediction of Water, Malediction of Wind and Malediction of Earth. Being a point blank aoe around the caster, a targeted aoe and I hoenstly can't remember what earth does but I assume an aoe as well.

    So while they could go about a mixing or entangle for the elements/weather it would probably be confined to the certain elements.

    From Swallow's Compass, the first three Sai Taisui encountered use "Evocations" instead of Maledictions.
    Evocation of Water summons water bombs that will inflict Paralysis if allowed to detonate without being destroyed.
    Evocation of Earth summons ivy pools under two players that will attempt to damage and root them after a delay.
    Evocation of Wind marks two players to place tornadoes at their locations after a delay, which act as continuous hazards.

    The next pair and the ones in Heaven on High then use Maledictions.
    In Compass, Malediction of Water summons a corridor-wide tidal wave to push players back; in Heaven on High, it's just a damage buff on the caster.
    Malediction of Wind centers a ground-targeted tornado under a random player that inflicts Vulnerability Up to any targets inside when the cast finishes.
    Malediction of Earth... is never shown. None of the Sai Taisui actually cast it.

    I also watched Malediction of Water do a point blank aoe around the Sai Taisui yesterday in HoH.
