resource is no a real issue in my view, FF14 is in a great place, they can afford to hire more people to do the work to improve character creation, including the missing gender. But I would sacrifice a dungeon or a alliance raid for those two missing gender in a blink, I care more for character creation in RPGs, but I don't think it's needed to sacrifice one thing for the other.

I was flying around Rak'tika today and noticed Bow rest. - do you think this is a Male Viera camp or an outpost for FV - I couldn't quite make up my mind. But I did think it would be interesting if it was.

it both is and isn't an issue. FFXIV generates a LOT of money for SquareEnix, but we also know that not all that money they bring in gets reinvested back into the game. It's treated like a cash cow they can use to pull money to fund other projects. So to that end, the game only gets the resources that the higher-ups allow it to have, and nothing more. So when Yoshida is telling us he doesn't have the resources to do what the players are asking for, he's also telling the developers that players want more from the game, and they should consider giving that to him.
