I do respect fair use and have no obligation to respect greedy and unfair players.

Especially since I could have bought several mansions without any kind of luck involved. I just do respect actual fairplay.

Where you totally get me wrong is if you imagine some kind of jealousy. I'm interested in Wildstar housing, something really creative, I don't care about show off. What is interesting in housing are collections and the possibility to make the housing evolving. This really is the part they have never considered in housing offer. The current dormitory districts are just plain boring. And to think they are wasting money and servers ressources for that is just disappointing.

Since ARR I hope and expect something better, they are able to do so much better and for everyone.

Considering that this is incredibly subjective, you have indeed targeted many housing owners unjustly. Your suggestions are good, but your mentality is not. The problem is that there is not enough houses to meet demand, not that some players are "greedy". If I purchase an item, it is mine to do what I want with it, housing already has restrictions, and a player will lose their house if they don't use it. If a player is indeed doing what you say then they have wasted millions of gil, and need to maintain the greed to circumvent the housing timer, in which case they must be invested in the house, albeit not in the way that you want.

You know there are many people out there that would turn around to you and tell you that you are denying an FC of a mansion if you buy it as an individual right? Why would you be so selfish and greedy as to claim such a big spot just for a single person when an entire FC could make use of that space? Do you see the kind of rabbithole we fall into when you start judging how people should use houses?

I didn't even mention what you hope for the game, I was talking about where you see the problem to be, as you'll see on the previous page, my solution to the problem is very similar to yours, I however recognise that the problem is to do with how few houses there are, not that the fault is with anyone who owns a house.

Or you don't want to see them.

The timer is just a lesser evil quick fix from SE.

And to see that when Wildstar showed how they can do so much more and for everyone is somehow heartbreaking. When I go on hiatus from the game, it is mainly because when I'm done with the tomes farm until the next expac, there's nothing nice to do with housing (too rigid, too little) and levelling is fast boring.

House flipping is already a bannable offence, and SE has already put measures in place to stop it happening (such as a randomised timer for the plot being reopened), its been this way for a while now. It's nowhere near as big a problem as it used to be. If you see a player like that, report them. Otherwise you are judging a player on a percieved assumption of wrongdoing.

Yeah, there's greedy selfish unfair people. But we've also got a questionably designed housing system that's totally open to being taken advantage of by those people. It wouldn't matter if people wanted multiple houses if SE hadn't allowed it in the first place. It wouldn't matter that people have houses they barely use (and some would argue it doesn't now) if there were enough houses to go around, or if we had an alternative that doesn't kind of suck.

From everything I've seen and heard, the problem with the housing system is that it's cobbled together from a system that wasn't originally intended or designed to be used the way it's being used, and it's covered with those super sticky uncomfortable Band-Aids that you really hate taking off cause it hurts like 800x more than a normal bandaid would.

In other words, it's a not so great system covered in not so great band-aid fixes that do nothing to actually address any of the core problems of the system and imo actually cause problems of their own.

Greedy people didn't create the problem, they've just taken advantage of what's already broken. Same as everyone else trying to make the best of it.
