I'm not against it but why? The zones are so small. If this added new content it would be nice. Even if it's just "worldling" content, like out of the way peaks where you see new scenery or find weird hermits, or a magical lake. Even in the zones where you can fly now there are tons of places you can't land. Maybe I want to stand on a mountain and play an epic lute solo?

My guess is for the sake of consistency since every expansion zone has flying enabled. That said there's a lot of fiddling they likely are going to have to do to make it work, as places like the East Shroud in particular weren't modeled with flight in mind.

^ From the old out of bounds glitch in East Shroud. Makes me wonder how much 'patch up work' they had to do to make the zones presentable, since Mor Dhona had similar issues if you ever attempted it's out of bounds trick as well.

That's kinda what I mean: It just seems like a lot of work for consistency sake. It's what Blizzard had to do. Though the necessity of it was debatable, they definitely added and changed things enough so that it had some semblance of purpose. Even if they don't add anything with this patch, I hope they do something.

Right now there are several places you can see but not get too, like the ravine under the bridge in Eastern La Noscea. Likely flight will just let you go down and hover.
