Me too. I suppose they could award the achievement when you unlock flying in ARR.

As an aside I liked that quest a lot so I'm sad to see it go. Though I also understand that it's a relic from the time when most ARR mounts couldn't fly and it doesn't make much sense for the company chocobo to be only mount to not fly by default in the current state of the game.
