Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

This thread pretty much reminds me the one from 2011 where people asked for inclusion of female Highlanders + Roegadyns and male Miqo'te. The situation on a development level is different, yes, but in general it's the same story all over again. Even topics for argues aren't any new from what they were back then. Also that player from the very 1st page that was against their implementation... with male Miqo'te on usepric. Irony, isn't it. /shrug

I don't understand why we have to defend the very existence of this thread.

The topic is something some people care for and like to talk about in which this thread is no different to other threads in this forum. As long as the discussion is handled in a civilized manner and not too far offtopic I don't get why it is such a problem for some that people come together here to show their appreciation and support for male Viera.

Also I am not reponsible for other people during livestreams and I certainly am not one of those that spam male Viera every opportunity. Report those that do. But please do not come in this thread and assume everyone that is supporting of the idea of implementing the missing genders is the same. This thread has nothing to do with livestream spamming. It is for showing our love for male Viera. Thank you.

If u dont want male viera I don't get why would u waste your time and come here, specially considering that u arent gonna change anything and the devs have probably already made their decisions. At this point, this thread is just here to discuss and show the devs we still want them, if u dont, that's fine, but it puzzles me how some posters spend their days tryign to tell off ppl who do want their implementation

Oh, even the races in question are similar lol. Miqote and viera are both humans with animal ears, and roegadyn have a semi-identical body type and personality as hrotgar. Story does repeat itself it seems

When did you ever have to Defend it? Its just a thread, there isn't some Gamer War or whatever going on. And its not like this is the only thread with people with Various Opinions and Hot Takes. Calm down bro.
And the Whole Livestream thing was a separate conversation that has nothing to do with this thread. Weird how people are suddenly so focused on it.

This is a Public Forum for any registered User, People are allowed to voice their opinion wither or not they agree with the topic. Why do people get so defensive when somebody voices a different opinion? It adds to the discussion, and you can choose to engage it or ignore it. There is 2 sides to every coin no matter where you go.
Unless Square or whoever decides to go Ban-Happy and Censors anybody who disagrees with somebody, or you make your own Private Forum that you will Police, this will never change.
Nobody is taking your Thread away from you, and you shouldn't be bothered by anybody who thinks differently then you.

I saw this a while ago, but felt like commenting on it now. Yoshi P didn't say anything we didn't already know. However, I'm glad the team is considering feedback and trying their best, even though this is not something that can easily be incorporated. I'm also thankful that Yoshi P would bother touching upon this topic once again - it reassures me that they are at least thinking about this even now.

It's sad though. A good portion of people that want male Viera don't see it this way. They are just mindless zombies that spam they want male Viera. Take for example all the threads that were created when male Viera wasn't being added at the time on release. All the threads of people "quitting" and that they were upset and this and that. Even though the task to implement races takes time and resources as stated and they went through with it because Viera was highly...very highly requested and their own race, they did it for the fans(Viera). But of course, there will always be those individuals who take things out of hand and are hard to appease no matter what SE does. They have no patience and expect everything to be handed to them on a silver platter.

I honestly wonder:
Do you guys waltz to a demonstration of your buddies - just in order to hold up a banner that's entirely the opposite to what said companions are there for?
(If your answer is Yes, I'll eat a broom.)

Also, if so many people decide to ignore the thread's purpose, I could also play Wild West--- ergo, post left and right screenshots of my Male-Elezen-cosplays-a-Viera-alt or the fresh female-Viera-pretends-to-be-a-guy-alt. And you all weren't allowed to complain about it; according to your own behaviour. xP

Following Melody's lead and getting this back on track!

I was very excited to see Matsuno was brought back for the Save the Queen questline, while nothing tangible yet, the hope is there.
While I know it was created by a different team at SE, the handling of the Honeybee Inn in the new VII remake was very well done with their handling of gender topics. (trying to keep it spoiler free for people)

the honeybee inn is the best and most iconic cutscene from that game imo. I think we will see hrotgar queen at 5.5, wit hthem saying things like 'I'm sorry the queen can't be here' etc, and then theyll be revealed either at the first trailer as a character and an official reveal at JP fanfest, or just JP fanfest
