As long as the discussion is handled in a civilized manner and not too far offtopic I don't get why it is such a problem for some that people come together here to show their appreciation and support for male Viera.

Also I am not reponsible for other people during livestreams and I certainly am not one of those that spam male Viera every opportunity. Report those that do. But please do not come in this thread and assume everyone that is supporting of the idea of implementing the missing genders is the same. This thread has nothing to do with livestream spamming. It is for showing our love for male Viera. Thank you.
When did you ever have to Defend it? Its just a thread, there isn't some Gamer War or whatever going on. And its not like this is the only thread with people with Various Opinions and Hot Takes. Calm down bro.
And the Whole Livestream thing was a separate conversation that has nothing to do with this thread. Weird how people are suddenly so focused on it.

This is a Public Forum for any registered User, People are allowed to voice their opinion wither or not they agree with the topic. Why do people get so defensive when somebody voices a different opinion? It adds to the discussion, and you can choose to engage it or ignore it. There is 2 sides to every coin no matter where you go.
Unless Square or whoever decides to go Ban-Happy and Censors anybody who disagrees with somebody, or you make your own Private Forum that you will Police, this will never change.
Nobody is taking your Thread away from you, and you shouldn't be bothered by anybody who thinks differently then you.

Why? Because somebody, as you gave for the example (although there are several people), can't read a thread's title.

The name is Support and NOT Discussion.

It's not "Do you want male Viera playable? Let's discuss", but the title you can read up there when you scroll a little.

(That ever-returning obstacle really frustrates me, I must say.)

    I honestly wonder:
Do you guys waltz to a demonstration of your buddies - just in order to hold up a banner that's entirely the opposite to what said companions are there for?
(If your answer is Yes, I'll eat a broom.)

Also, if so many people decide to ignore the thread's purpose, I could also play Wild West--- ergo, post left and right screenshots of my Male-Elezen-cosplays-a-Viera-alt or the fresh female-Viera-pretends-to-be-a-guy-alt. And you all weren't allowed to complain about it; according to your own behaviour. xP

Your on an Open Forum, forums are for discussion. Unless the thread is locked or Heavily Policed with an Iron Fist, discussion on both ends will commence.
Doesn't matter what the topic is, and this happens in real life to. Although, some of those "Demonstrations" as you wanna call them have security and actually have Policed rules. This is an Open Forum, no such rule exists unless a Mod or an Admin Dictates it.

Im not sure if I can call this a Strawman argument...but it kinda shoots over what Im trying to say. Yes, this is a Male Viera Support Thread, but that doesn't mean somebody can't come in and start or join discussions about if they agree with the idea of Male Viera, how they would/could be implemented, and whatnot. Discussion doesn't ignore the Threads Purpose, Its stays on topic about Male Viera, and these Discussions you seem to not want to happen, have helped Expand this thread, which brings more attention to it.

The recent budget-expansion-conversation clearly does not match this thread at all when there's already a current spot for this very matter.
Furthermore, it's no good attention at all, when some forum-users waltz every now and then into this bunny-boy-support-corner JUST to shoot the hopes of others down with belittling comments a la you-won't-get-them-ever-so-stop-dreaming-dummies.

Is it so absurd to respect the good-natured intention of this thread and simply SUPPORT the wish for playable males? If it is, then tell me why people even click this thread. Only for being cynical?

When I click this thread, I want to see interesting fan-concepts (text, sketches, cosplays) and read ideas how things could be implemented ingame. Yet, many things on all these pages imply that several people have more fun turning a sweet-attempt-of-a-thread into a text-accumulation against the original purpose.

So often I hear is "discussion", "discussion", "discussion"... You want to discuss? Then discuss the really fascinating stuff - like in, would male Viera have faces similar soft to the Miqo'te-boys or more adult like Elezen-men. Or how buff /muscular a Hroth-lady would be, in case you honestly want to expand the conversation. There's also the question, what a default outfit for the two of them could be.

That is some serious b.s.. Wow. Your last sentences prove that much. Imagine being so offended that people on an open forum didn't follow your ridiculous rules. Stereotypes getting mad. LOL.

-I wonder why...its as if thats a different thread...
-We've already been over this....this thread is on an Open Forum. Forums are for discussion.
-You do, You have, and you will, when people choose to post such things. Same goes for anybody who has an opposite opinion.
The Negativity only happens when you engage in it. You can easily ignore people who spout negativity, and keep the Conversation going on Supporting Male viera.
Just Support Male Viera, dont engage in Fights. Why is this such a Difficult Concept?
-You say that like Discussion is such a bad thing, lol my lord. That conversation has happened MULTIPLE times! Sad you weren't around to join that discussion.
Good Discussion happens here. Just because a handful of bad and negative people show up doesn't mean Discussion cant happen.

Felt like making another Separate post...
Personally, Im part of Team No-Male Viera, for the Lore Standpoint. I personally believe that if we had Male Viera present, it should be through a Mainline FF game at least 1st. That being said, at the same time Im not completely against it if done right. Like if the Empire is up to something that would literally inspire The Male Viera to come out of the Woods to Join the Fight; Sacrificing the Laws of the Forest and Loosing her Voice in order to Protect it. Something like that would make for Compelling Lore, and they could then start to join the Females out on adventures around the world. Even if some of them try to return to the forests despite losing the Voice of the Forest.
Then I have my own thoughts on how they would look, there is a picture someone made Id have to dig up that I think would be perfect bodywise. I see them as more Masculine like the Au-ra, but Height-wise I think they should be about the same as the Females.
Honestly, Im not clothing Master, so in talks of Default Clothing, Im lost there and cant contribute.

Then, they are separate from the Viera, but if talking about Female Hrothgar, Im pulling for them to follow in the footsteps of the Male Roe Body, and so give the Females the Female Roe Body. Id personally love to see Masculine Beast Ladies instead of soft and cute. And my god, if the Females have cute, soft Human Faces, I might break something. Lol
Clothing on them, the best I can muster, not being good with fashion, is something similar to the Miqote. But instead of a Skirt, some Pants, or even Shorts.

See? Even though Im techincally on the Opposite side of this discussion, I can still add to it and not Fan Flames of Hate.
Though I might Shitpost and troll every so often.
