I think this is a good body type for male viera

Oooh, that would be a really nice body for male viera. I'd love for them them to be fit, but slender and attractive, like their female counterparts. I do really like the idea of smaller/cuter males compared to females, but I am 100% willing to settle for androgynous and equal. Though for me the faces are more important than the body, and I'd also adore those to be androgynous/pretty boy as well. Pretty boys are a staple of the final fantasy series.

I think the omega M body type would work very well for male viera. Slim, shorter than the females, and very cool looking.This body type is a bit androgynous, and would fit the lore well. The lore says male and female viera cannot be told apart until puberty, so I imagine even in adulthood, the men and women still look similar - it's just now you can tell who is male and female.
I posted this idea to the japanese forum to see what they think as well.

How come when it comes to the lore, it doesn't work when they say only female Viera are only seen? When the lore states that no one has ever seen the male Viera, it's nonsense and just an excuse. But when the lore says they look the same until the age of 13, they're suddenly destined to be twinky, feminine boys? You can't pick and choose which pieces of the lore to follow to fit your agendas.

Oh gosh and let me be clear before someone rams this one down my throat. I don't mean the "Gay Agenda". I mean the overall agenda towards the desired appearance of the male Viera.

So he makes lore but again, because it doesn't fit your narrative, there are even more excuses and reasons as to why this new lore for his game is in place. But any other lore can be changed willy nilly, that's fine. As long as it suits your needs. Sheesh I can't with you guys sometimes.

It was more that Hrothgar was the already planned race but since people had been so desperate for Viera especially with Fran showing up, they decided they should add it. Hence the choice between either the female viera, or female hrothgar according to that interview. At the race's conception, males weren't even on the table. Will they stay locked? Doubtful, but I don't see them being added till mid Shadowbringers, or even until 6.0.

I think you are being uncharitable in your response. Although it is established male viera stay hidden, there are plenty of ways the story can lead to a male viera showing up. Viera biology is established as well, but that is one thing that cannot be changed.

What? If you are saying Omega M's body looks like the body of a male miqo'te, then I disagree. Male miqo'te have a broader chest/shoulders. Omega M is very slim and thin.
