The really bad lag is back... again...

cannot even log onto either EU Data Center at the moment.
I got onto NA (Goblin) and Elemental (Tonberry) with no issues at all.
Keep getting told by SE support that it’s a problem on my end. I may not know a lot about internet and computer networking, VPNs and all of that, but if I can play other games, watch streaming and use the internet for everything else, on top of being able to get onto every data center except for the EU, then how is it on my end??

EDIT: I just ran a Tracert & Pathping and it looks like node xe-0-1-0-1-1.r00.scrmca02.us.ce.gin.ntt.net is having issues. Getting 100% packet loss there.

What's going on with disconnects, action/spell lag, etc....Is the user load from social isolation is screwing things up for everyone, not just ffxiv.

Seen this before occassionally on weekends or prime time. If I see the pokeball disconnect symbol in-game or experience lag from actions and spells going off, something is up.

Is there ANYTHING that can help? Is there any solution? Or is it hopeless user load straining everything because of the pandemic going on? The world is crazy right now!

Everyone should get used to it. This is the new reality and it's going to get worse as more and more people work from home, placing an increased strain on every network.

Try get a VPN program i heard it helps alot with the lag though it will cost you like 5$ each month or so.

Adamantoise seems to have done the same thing. Over 900 log in queue after I got disconnected.
